Make The Commitment To Move Forward

The right action at the right time will result in success and achievement. You will need to commit to overcoming that which is holding you back from moving forward. You will have the when, what and where. The question is will you take action?

Failing to Move Forward will result in:

  • Being a crowd follower. This will result in your settling for mediocrity. It is so easy fall into the myth that you do not need to act or take risks. If you do not act or take the risks, you will fail to rise to the occasion. You will miss out on using your potential and opportunities.

  • Being replaced. You can and will be replaced with someone who is willing to take action. Someone else is ready thus move or be removed.

  • Living with regrets, the regret syndrome. You will look back on life having regrets. A life worth living is living a life that has no regrets. You do not want to have the thoughts of should have and could have.

  • Missing out on living in your purpose. You will not accomplish the purpose of your creation being idle.

You will need to be the leader of your life which will require you to be courageous. Having the courage to take the risk and putting yourself on the line, seizing the opportunities. You will have fear; however, you must overcome the fear by keeping your focus on the rewards and return that will be result of your taking action.

There has not been a leader that has not been afraid. They understood that to obtain extraordinary results, the only option was to move forward. You will need to move forward, not allowing fear or the past to hold you back.


In my book, Created to Soar, I tell the story of the bald eagle. In storms, eagles do not stop flying instead they soar higher seeking higher ground because they know that better is obtainable. The eagle takes the risk of going higher because they understand that settling, remaining in the storm is not an option. You must develop this mindset of an eagle. Move forward, soaring higher, taking the risks because it will result in your achieving your vision and becoming your best self.
