How many of us like to be dressed up all the time? Are fashion-forward? And how many would instead prefer the casual look all time?

Fashion designing started in the 18th century. Couture and daily wear did not exist. After a century, fashion developed in Paris, which is currently the fashion capital of this world. Both men's and women's trends evolved differently. Clothing fad evolved with celebrities giving bold statement. In the 1990’s Madonna became famous for wearing the cone bra. Lady Gaga, as seen from Met Gala’s.

Ever thought of about the backend process that goes on for such events? Preparation starts from months in advance to produce one garment. Beautifully handcrafted garment even takes longer.

How many months did it take to make Blake Lively’s 2018 MET Gala dress?

The apparel industry is a myriad of collections. It consists of manufacturers, retailers, designers, models, and advertisements. It is so unique due to its endless creations. Since the past decade, there has been cultural evolution, where we have seen varied designs and patterns being implemented globally. This has led to artists coming closer and breaking the stereotypes. The mixing of cultures that can be seen on garments and designs has made people aware of other cultures and break free from stereotypes. Not only this but also, the tech is highly getting involved with fashion.

Nowadays, we see renewable energy sector booming since the launch of eco-friendly cars and solar panels. This is not the end. It has extended until fashion. Temperature controlled unique fiber and jackets have made life so easier. Sustainability has started to blend with the core values of this industry. Recyclable plastic is being melted and reused as garments, solar panels being added to conduct wireless charging for our phones, and digital garment trend has also been noticed. The future holds even more exciting things to come!
