Imagine living in the desert. There is an unlimited amount of sand. More than you need. You can create whatever you want with all this sand. You can build houses, grab holes or just play with it. You decide what to create or destroy. You are the creator.
All creations belong to you because you made them. But at the end, the sand is not yours. It was already there before you existed and it will exist after you.
This is how I see God. God is the sand, the playground and the provider of everything. So that you can create, destroy and recreate.

In order to express yourself, you won’t only need sand, but also the energy, the intelligence, the visions and the skills. So God is also the provider of all the energy, intelligence, visions and skills. However, you decide how to use and develop them. And you also choose the visions that you want to act on.
God is unconditional love
I personally don’t think that this higher intelligence expects something from you. Whatever you do, it’s good. God loves you unconditionally. Because everything contributes to growth and evolution. Even your “bad” creations and destructions. The Provider will not punish or abandon you because you created something evil. Come on, do you really think God would allow all this evil on earth if it would totally be against it? No way! Again: You can do whatever you like. This intelligence never interferes with your free will.
The only plan God might have is growth and evolution.
Wait a moment? Isn’t God already perfect creation? Yes, God is perfection and imperfection at the same time. God is simply everything. Although this intelligence is in its perfect state of existence, it also likes to observe the creations of its co-creators. Because everything we create contributes to our and God’s evolution. Or better said: It leads to the EXPANSION of all beings.
I believe that the primary driver for God is expansion. That’s why the universe has always been expanding. And that’s why humans strive for expansion. Expansion of skills, of love, of kids, expansion of consciousness. Expansion of everything.
So the question here is: Why would you want to have a deeper connection to this divine intelligence?
Reasons to deepen your relationship with God
You are not just a personality but you also have a spiritual identity. This divine essence in you finds its meaning in spiritual expansion. The more you satisfy the need of your spiritual identity, the more inner fulfilment you will experience in your life.
As I mentioned, God is unconditional love, light and abundance. The provider of everything. This can also be an opportunity for you to access a greater spectrum of love, light and abundance in your life.
I know: Not everybody likes the word God. If you prefer Universe, Creator or Source, choose what works best for you. If you are an atheist, you may still want to explore an unseen intelligence without needing to believe in God.
However, if you want to unhack the God code, these are the 5 keys to deepen your relationship with the divine intelligence:
1. Expand your own consciousness
As God is omnipresent and omnipotent, you can have your own definition of the Source. Because God is everything. We mostly see God as we are. If you are a judgemental person, you will likely believe in a judging God. This explains why so many people have different opinions about God. Even people within the same religious community don’t share the same opinion. People see God from the level of consciousness they are in right now. In order to have a greater and more whole experience of God, you need to expand and upgrade your own consciousness first.
2. Change limiting beliefs around God
If a friend of yours tells you off all the time, probably you won’t like to stay in touch with him, right? Well, the same with God. How will you want to deepen and explore your relationship with God, if you think that this “monster” will hate or humiliate you most of the time? I wouldn’t like to be around somebody constantly punishing and judging me. It’s time to change all your limiting beliefs around God probably inherited from religious communities, gurus and what others told you and find your highest definition of the divine intelligence.
3. Connect with God through your heart
Your heart is the bridge to God. Your mind is usually full of dogmas, imprints, convictions and judgements from the past. But you can shift your attention from your mind and direct it to your heart. Your heart will show you God in his purest way. Take time to get in touch with your heart and you will become one with the highest expression of God.
4. Deepen your relationship with God
What do you usually do with a very good friend? You call him, you meet him regularly, you talk to him and you have a good time together. You know what: The same works for God. If you want to deepen your relationship with God, “call” him, talk to him, be receptive to his insights and have a great time together. Don’t just get in touch with God when you are miserable. What would a friend say to you if you only wanted to see him when you are sad or unhappy? Make your relationship with God the highest priority in your daily life!
5. Surrender to your soul
Your soul is your spiritual identity. Your soul is what continues to live when your body dies. If you want to experience God not only as a physical expression but also as pure energetic essence, switch your identity to your soul. Because your soul is pure light and love. So God is.
And always keep in mind: You are meant for a divine life.
