Real estate belongs to one of the luxury industry where the salesforce and leaders represent the brand and services they are proposing. it is very prestigious industry as you are selling properties for industrial or private usage, big construction buildings for companies or high value ticket villas and projects. As fashion is a communication language, what we wear is representing us to the world.

I can try to give you some ideas about what to wear and which fabric and design for your outfits would be beneficial as a real estate agents.

As a fashion designer from Italian famous fashion school in Milan Academia Del Lusso, my passion is to educate and help women and men to share with them the knowledge to choose the best outfits that bring them lot of visibility and success in their professional and private life.

My luxury brand “Lisa Joans” also is focusing on women and men who are keen to choose quality rather than quantity and wear more luxury collection items.

For the real estate salesforce the first impression is most important. 70 percent of what you wear builds the trust and relationship with client within the first 3 seconds when you enter the room.

My advice for women would be to focus on good quality of fabrics, choose Italian fabrics and put attention on elegance -those which are unique are velvet, silk, duchess satin, and jacquard.

The colours also matter, choose suitable colours for your skin and hairstyle. Real estate is all about selling and listening to client needs for delivering the best properties related to the client’s requirements similar to any customer centric business.

Think about choosing a suit or a dress with jacket that would be sophisticated in colours such as blue, black, red, white. It could be one colour for a full suit or dress. I recommend using same fabric for both items jacket and trousers / jacket and skirt for real state agent style.

If you want to highlight your superior elegance, you must remember that you are a reflection of your client. Your target audience are financially independent client so try to create or choose designers or shops who have added on the garments pattern such as pearls, stones, Swarovski diamonds, it will give you more luxury touch and you will feel more self-confident and more knowledgeable in front of your client. Your self-image in his eyes will be more meaningful.

Men in real estate should do the same attempt to invest a little bit more and choose better tailor-made suit. Add to your total look a silk pocket or scarf with a nice tie. Both ties and scarfs are valuable accessories. Do not be afraid to make them visible and use pattern fabrics with beautiful red or yellow colours depend on the colour of the suit.

For important meeting, real estate men should express their elegance and wear grey or grey metallic suits, black navy blue or even bourgundy suits which are extremely unique colours.

I encourage you to put attentions to ties pocket scarf or even wear nice shirt and jacket with pocket scarf which match the jacket or highlight your personality. Choose more sophisticated scarfs and highlight your suit and jacket through those accessories.

Pay attention to elegant button on the shirt or on the jacket. Small items make a difference in your look and attracts you more sales and more attention from your clients. The more unique shirt or jacket buttons, the more elegant you represent yourself in front of your audience.
