One of our biggest downfalls as humans is the tendency to keep emotions bottled up. It seems that this has become our first action when everything seems overwhelming or we feel we can’t cope. The reason you feel like this is because you are keeping it all in. You gather every shred of evidence and every incident that has ever happened to you, and you store it in your mind and your subconscious day after day, year after year, minute after minute. You become a hoarder of emotions.

What does this do to you?

As a result, your emotions consume you, and the will to take action on things starts to deteriorate, and de-motivation sets in and fear and anxiety.

Blame is another trait that occurs as a result of this. Self-blame as well as blaming others for not changing things for the better. It becomes a cycle of ‘I can’t’ and giving up on dreams you really want to achieve and heading back to square one again.

This eventually leads to depression, fear, and feeling stuck and uncertain of having a better life.

So what can you do to combat this?

Release it all.

Build a new habit of letting the emotions go and releasing them from the brain and your subconscious.

These emotions, especially those heavy negative emotions, need to be released for you to begin moving forward and taking action on your dreams despite everything that has happened, which previously held you back.

You have to be ready and willing to de-clutter your brain from everything you hold in and give your mind the space to clarify what it needs to take action and be more productive.

A few ways you can do this is by:

Meditating – my number one go-to remedy for all of life’s curveballs and the best tool to release negative energy and gain clarity, which is why I love to teach it.

EFT Energy Healing – a great way to tap away those negative subconscious beliefs and emotions that keep on circulating and pulling you back and which I have seen works very effectively with the clients I use it with.

Journaling – taking all those emotions and releasing them on paper so they are out of your head and give you space to create new things and thoughts.

Breathwork – the most simplest thing we do daily yet often overlooked for how effective it can be at helping you to release emotions. My clients have always found it effective.

Don’t keep carrying emotions around with you. Let the burdens go and wash yourself free from them. Life is now, and there are always opportunities to start again and live a life happy and fulfilled, but it starts with you and your desire to let go of all those things that no longer serve you and begin moving forward again.
