Have you asked yourself, how to live a good long life? Not everybody wants to live long, but if you do... How are you improving your life quality and happiness? Longevity?

I'm not dreaming of hitting a 100, but 90's for sure. What's your target age? It might feel awkward to look at your ideal lifespan this way but think about this.

The choices you make today have an impact on your life.

It's often easier to postpone most things for tomorrow... that workout, diet plan, calling for help, asking on a date... and that tomorrow never comes. Can you relate?

Yeah, I'm a master at procrastination!

I know myself and when I keep pushing unpleasant or difficult things forward and do what is more fun. It's human. I also know what it is like to live small. An okay and safe life.

Settling for Mediocre lifestyle is costly

Holding back and being indecisive become costly. I almost lost what was important to me – the love of my life. Then, I decided to take care of my life and happiness.

Instead of regret, I chose to stand up for my needs and my priorities. One decision followed another.

So, I followed my vision, and love. I left my home country and moved overseas to study a new profession and set up a life together. I qualified as a coach and started building a business on my purpose.

Now, I’m excited about my days and future. I have the freedom I value and a meaningful way to help others while exploring the world with the man I love.

I still procrastinate sometimes but not living. I believe that prioritizing my time and energy on doing what is important to me will add time to my lifespan.

This is what a good long life looks like to me. What is it for you?

Invest In your life priorities

Following my vision also means stretching my comfort to achieve greater things. It also means giving myself a break at times. But when my lifestyle, habits and direction is right, I don't fall into shaming or regret.

What is sad to hear how we spent half of our time on irrelevant things. (Harvard psychologists Matthew Killingsworth and Daniel Gilbert found that people spend almost 47% of their waking hours thinking about something other than what they are currently doing.)

Then there are people who invest in their life quality, growth and happiness. I've met them and been empowered by them!

Which club are you in?

Make a plan for the years to come, and how you want to spend your time.

What are the 3 things you don't want to live without that makes your good life?

Let’s hear them with the tribe!
