Introduce yourself!

Hello, I am Ramona, owner of RoRa Hypnosis.

I am a creator, a guide, a dreamer, and someone deeply committed to helping others reconnect with their own inner strength.

I am also a mother to two amazing boys, who inspire me every day to keep becoming the best version of myself.

Motherhood has deepened how I see the world. It has made me even more passionate about lifting others up, about nurturing the parts of people that were never properly seen or supported. Beyond that, I have always loved being creative — painting, telling stories through film and photography, finding ways to capture emotion through art.

Imagination has always been important to me.

I believe it is what keeps us connected to something bigger, something unseen but very real. It is also why I feel so passionate about my work as a hypnotist.

Hypnosis centers around the imagination, around the mind’s ability to create and recreate new possibilities.

I am also passionate about plants, nature, and the quiet ways we can reconnect with something sacred.

There are so many ways to make life beautiful and worth living, even when it is hard. I bring that belief into my work and my life every day.

What inspired you to start RoRa Hypnosis, and how did you discover your passion for hypnotherapy?

I found hypnosis through my own healing journey.

At the time, I was looking for something that actually worked, something that could truly reach the deeper layers where talk therapy and other approaches had fallen short for me.

I stumbled onto hypnosis almost by accident. I did not know much about it. I tried it on a whim. And it completely changed the course of my life.

For the first time, I felt real relief.

I knew that if it could help me, it could help so many others too.

Then, when I was diagnosed with cancer, I used hypnosis again, on myself.

It became even clearer to me that this work was not just something I wanted to do. It was my mission. It was my soul path.

I believe in it with my full being, not because I read about it somewhere, but because I lived it personally.

I know what it can do because it helped carry me through some of the hardest seasons of my life.

How does RoRa Hypnosis differ from other hypnosis services in the market?

One of the biggest differences is the way I connect with people.

Because I have walked the path myself, I meet clients with a level of understanding that goes

beyond textbook training.

I know what it feels like to be sitting on the other side, searching for answers. It lets me understand what is needed in certain moments on a much deeper level than if I had not walked that path myself.

My work also goes deeper than traditional surface-level suggestion techniques.

Instead of simply offering affirmations or temporary relief, I help clients uncover why the blocks exist, where they came from, and how they have been silently shaping their lives.

By working at the true root of the issue, we can create shifts that are real and lasting, not just momentary.

Every session is personalized.

I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

From the very beginning, through an honest and thoughtful intake process, I take time to understand not just the goals, but also the hesitations, fears, dreams, and deeper needs of each individual.

I tailor each session to meet the client exactly where they are, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, and help them move forward at a pace and in a way that honors their unique path.

Healing is a collaborative process.

It is not about handing someone a script.

It is about walking beside them as they remember who they are and what they are capable of creating in their lives.

What advice would you give someone who is considering hypnotherapy for the first time?

Let go of expectations about how it "should" be or feel.

There is no right or wrong experience, and it will be different for everyone.

One person’s session might feel very deep and emotional, while another person's might feel calm and light, but both are exactly right.

You do not have to feel like you are floating on a cloud with unicorns for it to be working.

It is often a very subtle feeling in the moment that creates profound and far-reaching changes. Come into it with curiosity, almost like a child exploring something new.

Be open. Trust that your subconscious will bring you what you need.

The more you try to force an answer consciously, the more it can stay blocked. Just relax, be curious, and allow the experience to unfold.

Some of the most profound breakthroughs happen when we least expect them.

If you could change one thing about your industry, what would it be and why?

I would change the tendency for some practitioners to tell clients what they "should" do based on what is popular at the time, or based too heavily on their own personal experiences and opinions. Sometimes advice is given that does not actually fit the client's truth, because the practitioner is more focused on projecting their own worldview rather than learning what is truly right for the client.

I believe we are meant to be guides who help clients find their own truths, not hand them a ready-made map that may not apply to their lives.

It breaks my heart when I hear clients say that previous therapists or coaches did not understand them, or made them feel like healing was not possible just because the approach did not fit them. People need to be heard, understood, and supported in finding the path that is uniquely theirs.

My work is about walking that path with them, not walking it for them.

Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

There have been so many pivotal moments.

Times when I felt like I had tried everything and nothing worked. But I refused to believe that was the end of the story.

For me, it was not one single event. It was a series of moments:

  • Being in an abusive relationship.

  • Being a struggling single mom, scraping together spare change just to put gas in my car to take my son to school.

Facing a serious health challenge like cancer that made me face the reality of death, and realizing how little I had truly been living for myself, and how often I had been playing small to accommodate others.

These moments hit so hard they become non-negotiable truths:

  • This is not the life I am meant to live.

  • They pushed me to find a bigger life, a deeper truth, a more aligned path.

  • They were the steps that brought me to where I am now — to being this person I love being, and living a life that feels true and full of meaning.

If you are curious about hypnosis, about healing, about finding a new way forward for yourself, or are simply a like-minded individual looking to connect with others, I would love to hear from you.

Feel free to reach out with any questions.

I am always happy to share more about this beautiful work and explore how it might support you on your journey.
