The 3-Key Things that will attract your dream clients like a moth-to-a-flame...

Know your Audience

A lack of specificity in content is a big issue most entrepreneurs have. The problem is this: they don’t want to OR don’t know how to niche down.

Let us put this in context:

Imagine you show up to a dinner party and your mom & dad are there, your best friend from first grade, your spouse, your kids, the college roommate, your great-grandmother, your neighbor, your coach, your business partner, your fitness trainer, one of your college professors, your ex; they are all seated around the table. To “keep the peace” with such a diverse crowd, you can only allow a sliver of your personality to shine through, and you’re forced to find what tiny bit of common ground would be shared by these extremely different individuals.

However, if instead you were just going out and grabbing coffee with your best friend, you know you could let lose, talk about whatever your heart desired, and you’d know exactly what your friend loved to talk about. It would be not only an easy conversation, but it would also have depth and meaning to it.

Most entrepreneurs address the entire internet when they create content. Much like the dinner party scenario, they are careful about what they say to fear offending anyone. Unfortunately, in their efforts to please everyone, they go unheard and ignored by all because their message lacks substance.

By clarifying who your ideal client is, your content starts to shift and take shape. Just like the coffee shop scenario, you’re no longer censored, and you can speak freely, easily attracting the audience you desire (while simultaneously repelling the nightmare clients! Double win!)

The key here is understanding how to define your niche ( https://amanda-rose.mykajabi.com/marketing-ba-bling ) AKA dream clients so that you can speak to them!

Authenticity

This may be a terrifying prospect for anyone building a business online: getting really honest, raw, and open with your audience.

Being authentic feels like showing up naked for all to see, opening yourself to potential ridicule or judgment. The internet trolls certainly make this feat feel all the more intimidating.

Yet, it’s when we show up fully embracing who we are, owning our past, our mistakes, and our triumphs, that we can create real connections with others. It’s in the overcoming that we become relatable. By allowing others to see who we really are, we allow kindred spirits to find us.

Sell them what they need, give them what they want

You must always remember that we don’t purchase logically. We purchase emotionally!

You’ve likely witnessed this before.

That friend who has a whack load of debt to pay off but cannot help but purchase her 10th Black Cashmere Sweater.

Or someone who desperately needs a new car, every time they start the engine, they do a little prayer to the car gods hoping it will start, but they end up paying for a tropical vacation instead.

When it comes to our buying decisions, our hearts lead us to make the ultimate choice.

Unfortunately, many entrepreneurs’ marketing plans lean into trying to convince the prospect “why” it’s a “smart” and “logical” choice to make that purchase. They lack the emotional potency to draw the interest of the prospect.

What does your niche really want? Talk about that, and watch the clients flock towards you, cash in hand!

The 3-Things That Are Repelling Your Dream Clients:

1. Lack of Consistency.

When you do not show up consistently in your business (or if you are only working behind the scenes and no one sees that), it sends a subconscious message to any followers they should purchase from you. You might disappear on them.

People will not part with their money if they feel there’s a chance that they won’t be getting what they pay for. When you have consistency in your business, you build momentum, not only in getting your workload done but in gaining positive public opinion. Consistency helps build your brand authority.

2. The wrong intentions.

Networking and relationship building are integral aspects of business and sales. It’s too bad that many entrepreneurs assume that cold-pitching or focusing on how to force-fit their sales pitch into a conversation with a new connection is how to build relationships.

No one wants to be sold to. People can feel the pitch coming before it happens. That’s why so many people get ignored in Direct Messaging; the prospect can feel that they’re being targeted, and they don’t bother responding.

By dropping the sales-persona and just being a human being, sales happen naturally.

3. Faking it 'til you make it.

While “Fake it until you make it,” may be a popular adage, it certainly is doing you no favors within your business.

It is easy to think that people will be attracted to flashy marketing and an image of success, but the truth is, we’re attracted to what’s real. We want a deeper connection. The days of slick ads are dead, and what people really want is to feel heard and understood.

Be honest and open with your audience (remember, authenticity!).
