Presented by world-renowned humanitarian and Oprah Winfrey’s all-time favourite guest, Dr. Tererai Trent and Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York, the awards celebrate trailblazers in leadership, innovation, sustainability, advocacy, health, and education women making a lasting impact and inspiring others to do the same.

“These exceptional women are here to awaken hearts, give permission to recapture dreams and inspire the women of the world to come together to forge a brighter path for all. The rising of women is the awakening of everybody.” said Dr. Trent.

“I was completely blown away when my name was called. Standing alongside extraordinary women from 55 countries around the world – each creating powerful ripples of change – was humbling and galvanising. It fuels my mission to lead transformative, human-centred change through courageous, heart-led leadership.”

Sinja continued,

“This award means so much because it recognises not just the work I do with courageous leaders and change-makers, but the ripple effect that work creates across organisations, industries, and generations.”

Transforming leadership from the inside out

With over 20 years of experience in organisational and individual transformation, Sinja is known for her unique approach to leadership: blending emotional intelligence, neuroscience, and purpose-driven strategy. Her signature WiseHeartMind Leadership™ Method and Intentionally You™ Coaching Program support ambitious leaders, particularly women in male-dominated industries, to lead with clarity, conviction, and compassion.

Her coaching philosophy bridges heart and strategy, empowering clients to elevate performance while remaining authentic and deeply aligned with their values. She challenges outdated leadership models and replaces them with human-centred paradigms that foster innovation, creativity, resilience, inclusion, and sustainable impact.

“The corporate world can no longer afford leadership that’s disconnected from human needs,” Sinja said.

“I teach leaders to bridge brain logic with heart logic to build psychologically safe, diverse, and high-performing workplaces. The future of leadership is heart-centred, and that future needs to be brought forward faster.

An award-winning year of impact

In the past 12 months, Sinja has:

  • Coached over 200 leaders globally, many of whom have stepped into more senior roles and significantly increased their earning potential.

  • Delivered social impact independently valued at AUD $1.2 million by making coaching programs accessible for underserved communities.

  • Boosted team engagement, wellbeing, and productivity across multiple sectors.

  • Achieved her International Coaching Federation ICF Accredited Certified Coach (ACC) credential, demonstrating her commitment to excellence and ethical standards in a largely unregulated industry.

She credits her impact to unwavering purpose, intuition-led decision-making, and deep knowledge of human transformation.

“In male-dominated industries, leaders of all genders still lack visible role models who show that kindness, emotional intelligence, and heart-centred leadership are strengths, not liabilities,” she said.

“With the rapid pace of change leading to burnout, the corporate world can no longer afford leadership that is disconnected from human needs. We need to stop managing people like machines. Leadership isn’t just about KPIs. It’s about connection. It’s about culture. It’s about creating spaces where people can thrive.”

Rising together to lead differently

Reflecting on the ceremony in London, Sinja shared admiration for her fellow finalists and the powerful sense of community in the room.

“It was incredibly moving and heartwarming to be surrounded by and meet women who uplift rather than compete whose work is driven by service, not ego. The innovation, creativity, and courage in that room were palpable. These women aren’t waiting for permission to lead change. They’re already doing it.

This global recognition is a reminder that when women rise, the world rises with us.”

Her message to other women ready to create change?

“Do it now. Start before you feel ready. Your voice, your vision, and your power are needed today. You don’t need to be perfect to be powerful. Decide to trust yourself. Decide to be the change. That decision will not only transform your life it will ripple out to change others too.”

Looking ahead: A new era of leadership

“The corporate world is at a breaking point,” Sinja said.

“Burnout is widespread. Disengagement is rising. Women especially in male-dominated industries continue to be underrepresented and underestimated in leadership.”

“The cost of this is enormous not just for individuals, but for businesses and the broader economy. Inclusive, emotionally intelligent leadership isn’t a ‘nice to have.’ It’s the competitive edge. It’s how we build cultures of trust, innovation, and long-term performance that is sustainable.”

Looking forward, Sinja is focused on scaling her global impact by creating brave, psychologically safe spaces for leaders to evolve, transforming not just leadership behaviours, but the systems and structures that sustain them.

“I’m not just coaching leaders. I’m transforming the way we lead and live,” she said.

“My vision is to put the heart back into corporate. One daring leader at a time. That will be my legacy. What will yours be?”
