Jazmina Mba Gonzalez is a former aspiring surgeon turned medical intuitive and creator of the Shadow Alchemy Method. After experiencing chronic pain that conventional medicine couldn’t fully heal, she began exploring the deeper connection between the body, mind, and spirit. Through medical astrointuition and Jungian depth psychology, she discovered that every symptom holds a message waiting to be decoded. Today, she helps others uncover the emotional and energetic roots of chronic pain, guiding them back to their body’s natural wisdom and capacity to heal. Her mission is to bring hope to those who feel their condition is forever, because healing is always possible when we learn to listen within.

What inspired you to blend your medical training with intuitive healing and shadow work?

It all started with my own healing crisis. I had chronic neck pain that traditional medicine helped a little, but not completely. I went from being completely immobilized to being mobile, with pain every time I moved. I had lingering numbness in my left hand and couldn’t hold certain positions for long. As someone working in surgery, not being able to hold a position for long was less than ideal, to say the least.

At one point, I told myself, “I refuse to live like this.” That decision opened the door to exploring other options. When I discovered medical intuition – the practice of tuning into the body’s deeper energetic and emotional story – everything changed. My body wasn’t my enemy, it was my messenger. Once I learned how to listen and take aligned action, my pain shifted. Medical intuition gave me the message. Shadow work helped me see the unconscious programs that were keeping me stuck. Together, they showed me that healing isn’t about “fixing” yourself, it’s about finally listening to yourself.

How do you define “Medical Astrointuitive,” and what unique results does it deliver?

“Medical Astrointuitive” is my term for the blend of medical intuition and medical astrology.

Years after my chronic pain disappeared, I stumbled upon medical astrology, and what I found floored me. There it was: my energetic blueprint. It revealed what recharges and drains me, my body's weak points, and how cosmic energies interact with my physical and emotional health.

Medical intuition helps me read what’s happening in the body right now. Medical astrology explains why it’s happening and when certain energies may flare up. When you put them together, it’s like giving your healing journey both a GPS and a weather forecast. You finally stop guessing and start aligning.

This work shows that we’re beautifully complex. Once we understand our natural energetic blueprint, we can prepare for and navigate life’s transits with greater harmony, turning potential breakdowns into breakthroughs.

What’s the most common hidden pattern you help high-achieving women uncover and overcome?

This one’s a classic. It’s the “I’ll shrink myself so everyone else can feel comfortable” program. Most of the high-achieving women I work with have been told – sometimes subtly, sometimes not – that they’re “too much.” Too smart, too emotional, too ambitious, too everything. So they spend years dimming their light while wondering why their body feels heavy, tight, or burned out.

The truth is, your body knows when you’re playing small. The tension, fatigue, or chronic pain you experience often mirrors the inner conflict between your potential and your permission to express it. My work helps women remember that taking up space is sacred. When they begin to live unapologetically in their truth, their bodies soften, their energy expands, and they experience deep healing and empowerment.

Can you walk us through your signature method for turning chronic symptoms into personal empowerment?

Absolutely! My Shadow Alchemy Method™ blends medical intuition, shadow integration, and astrology to create profound, lasting transformation.

We start by tuning into the message behind the symptom: asking what the body is holding on to and why. Then, we identify the shadow, the unseen part of you that’s been trying to protect you through that symptom.

For example, my chronic pain was rooted in ignoring my intuitive nudges because it didn’t feel safe to follow them. My shadow was terrified of being judged or rejected if I fully embraced that part of myself.

The final step is integration and embodiment, learning to live as your whole, healed self. This is where astrology comes in. We use your natal chart to guide the embodiment process, aligning it with the cosmic blueprint of your energy. Your chart shows what naturally grounds, revitalizes, and strengthens you, so integration becomes smoother, gentler, and far more sustainable.

When you live as your integrated self, your body no longer has to shout for attention because it can finally exhale. And that’s when the magic happens: peace, vitality, and that beautiful moment when you think, “Oh, this is what healed feels like.” For me personally, once I acknowledged and integrated that fear, my body no longer needed to protect me through pain. It could finally rest, and that changed everything.

How does your approach differ from conventional therapies when it comes to healing mind, body, and spirit?

I like to joke that I don’t just address your symptoms, I address your story. My approach looks at all of you: your body, your emotions, your spirit, and the sneaky unconscious programs that like to run the show from behind the curtain. And yes, even the stars get a say, because your natal chart is basically your soul’s user manual.

Conventional therapies are wonderful for many things, but they often stop at the surface. Most of our behaviors, fears, and physical patterns are driven by what’s unseen. When we bring these unconscious programs to light and align them with our unique astrological blueprint, transformation happens quickly.

Who is your ideal client–and what change do they experience after working with you?

My ideal client is someone who’s already tried all the things–the scans, supplements, treatments, and still hasn’t found lasting relief. They’re the ones who suspect their symptoms go deeper than the physical. They know something bigger is happening, they just can’t quite name it yet.

After working together, these clients often say, “I finally understand why my symptoms weren’t going away.” They stop fighting themselves and start partnering with themselves. The result is physical and emotional relief, clarity, and empowerment.

What’s one transformative case or client journey that illustrates your impact?

One of my favorite stories starts with skepticism (as the best ones usually do). I met a woman at an event who’d been suffering from excruciating lower back pain for months. Surgery was her next step. When she heard I was a former physician turned medical intuitive, she looked at me like, “You what?” But curiosity won.

I told her her pain was connected to years of holding in her emotions to “keep the peace.” She nodded, and apparently, I hit the nail on the head. We brainstormed some ways she could express herself safely, and that was it–I didn’t expect to hear from her again.

The next day, she found me at lunch, beaming. She’d finally spoken her truth to her family the night before… and woke up completely pain-free. No medication. No surgery. Just one honest conversation.

A year later, I received a voice note: she was still pain-free and thriving. Her relationships had healed, her confidence had blossomed, and her life had changed entirely. That’s the power of this work.

What are the first steps someone should take if they’re ready to make a deep change and engage your help?

First, take care of the physical. See your doctor, get your checkups, and make sure you feel supported. There’s no need to pick sides. Western medicine and energy medicine can absolutely be friends.

Next, start viewing your symptoms as communication, not punishment. Ask, “What might my body be trying to tell me?” Then, get curious about how your environment, emotions, and thoughts influence your body. This self-awareness will become your foundation for deep healing. You don’t have to fix everything overnight. Just start listening. Once you do, your body will begin to relax, because it finally knows you’re on the same team.

How do you support clients beyond symptom relief – into long-term resilience and personal evolution?

This is where my Jungian training and shadow integration work come in. Understanding your body’s messages is powerful, but real transformation happens when you act on that awareness. Shadow work helps you identify the unconscious fears that keep you looping in the same patterns. Working with a trained practitioner allows you to see what you can’t see on your own. It’s like holding up a mirror to the hidden parts of your psyche.

Once those patterns are integrated, you no longer react from fear or survival, you respond from alignment. Life feels lighter. You feel more like yourself. And suddenly, the things that used to trigger you don’t even make a blip on your radar.

What would you say to someone who’s skeptical about intuitive healing–why should they still consider working with you?

My answer is simple: Don’t knock it until you try it. Seriously, you have nothing to lose by getting curious about what your body’s been trying to say. This work doesn’t require you to believe in magic, abandon medical treatments, own a cauldron, or stop taking your meds. It simply asks you to listen to your body in a new way.

It’s not about belief; it’s about experience. And you might be surprised at how much peace comes from realizing that your symptoms aren’t random, but a different language from your body. Once you witness your body shift in response to emotional and energetic alignment, skepticism fades.

The real question is: Are you ready to meet the parts of yourself that have been hidden with compassion and curiosity? If the answer is yes, then you’re ready to work with me.
