You must be able to breathe properly in order to induce the most substantial, optimal and deepest of orgasms, as well as increase the likelihood of experiencing different types of orgasms. Regular diaphragmatic breathwork ensures the blood is properly oxygenated and when our blood is properly oxygenated, our organs, and all of our body systems are given the proper fuel to function at the most efficient levels; this obviously includes the reproductive system.

Deep diaphragmatic breathing relaxes the mind and body allowing it to become more present in the moment into what is happening and allows the past and the future, as well as all other unnecessary distractions, to dissolve. It allows all major regions of the brain to flow in integration with one another which allows for all five senses to become more acutely aware of what is happening in the present moment, thus, more responsive to physiological stimuli.

Conversely, holding your breath during any form of sexual stimuli will restrict major body systems and send them into a fight or flight mode of stress response and put further tension on the body, causing blood to literally flee from areas of the body that need to be engorged with blood. The process of childbirth is a prime example of how and why breathing is integral to balancing out relaxation and tension of pelvic and sphincter muscles. Thus, it is relaxation and tension of these muscles that essentially allows full and deep orgasms into your life.
