Welcome to The Gift Shoppe, a sacred space of remembrance. Each offering is a frequency, a revelation, a soul whisper wrapped in divine timing.

What is gratitude?
Gratitude is the quality of being thankful. It’s a readiness to show appreciation and to return kindness. But more than that, gratitude is an energy. A frequency. A state of being that opens portals, softens hearts, and shifts timelines. It is not just a mental exercise. It is a spiritual posture
A journey back to the feeling
Close your eyes for a moment and take a breath. Now go back, in your mind’s eye, to a time when you felt pure, deep, soul-stirring gratitude. Maybe it was the birth of a child. A breakthrough after a long storm. Or maybe it was something simple, like someone seeing you when you felt invisible.
Hold that moment.
What did your body feel like in that memory?
Did your chest expand?
Did your eyes water?
Did your hands tremble, or your heart beat faster?
Was there stillness? Was there peace?
This is important because gratitude isn’t just something we think. It’s something we embody.
Let gratitude become a person
Now, imagine that feeling wasn’t just a sensation. Imagine it were a soul, a being, a person. What would they look like? How would they walk? What would they wear? How would they speak? Now imagine this being, Gratitude, sitting at a table with you, not in theory, not metaphorically, literally. Sitting. Across. From. You.
What would you say?
If you could have dinner with Gratitude, what would you say? Would you thank them for always showing up at the right time? Would you cry? Would you apologize for all the times you ignored them?
What stories would you share? What prayers would rise up from your belly? What healing would happen just by being in their presence?
The sacredness of small things
Too often, we reserve gratitude for the “big moments,” the unexpected check, the healed body, the answered prayer.
But what about using the bathroom with ease? What about having a warm meal in front of you? What about being able to breathe, right now, with no machine?
These are not small things. They are miracles hiding in plain sight.
Gratitude doesn’t need a spotlight. It just needs to be seen.
Takeaway practice: “Dinner with gratitude”
Try this:
Tonight, before you eat, whether you’re alone or with others, set one extra place at the table.
Name that seat, Gratitude.
Before you begin eating, say aloud:
“Gratitude, I see you. I welcome you. I honor you.”
Then, with each bite, breathe and reflect on all the unseen graces surrounding your life.
Let that meal become a memory.Let it become a moment of sacred communion.
This is the gift
Gratitude is not just a word or a list. It’s a living presence that wants to sit with you, eat with you, laugh with you, and love through you.
Make room at your table. Gratitude is already on the way.
And as my mama would say.
“It just keeps getting gooder and gooder.”
