We don’t often question the colours we surround ourselves with, they just quietly become the backdrop of our lives. But what if those choices are shaping more than just our environment? What if they’re shaping us?

A person sits on a colorful, swirling floor of vibrant neon patterns in an immersive digital art space, evoking a contemplative mood.

Reclaiming the power of a vibrant palette

The other day, I stepped out of the gym and stood still.

Before me stretched a monochrome sea of black, white, and grey vehicles, lined up like obedient soldiers. And there it was, my car, a bold red beacon glowing like it had just landed from another realm.

It made me pause and wonder: with all the radiant hues available, why do so many default to these non-colors?

Yes, some may say it’s a minimalist aesthetic, practicality, or even resale value. And if we dig a little deeper, the absence of color might be saying something more. Something energetic. Something soulful.

Because color is more than what you see. Color is frequency. And frequency is life.

The frequency behind what you see

Every color you perceive is light vibrating and oscillating at a specific frequency. Red pulses at a slower wavelength. Violet moves faster. Yet what we call "visible light" is only a tiny sliver of the electromagnetic spectrum. Beyond it lies a whole world we don’t normally access: infrared, ultraviolet, gamma rays, X-rays, dimensions we are taught to overlook.

What if you could expand your perception?

Some people do, through deep meditation, synesthesia, or energy healing. Others experiment with technologies like aura glasses embedded with dicyanin dye. Once restricted, these lenses are now gaining popularity again among seekers who wish to see more than what meets the eye. In fact, I own a pair myself. When I wear them hiking, the natural world comes alive. Trees hum with vibrancy, skies shimmer with colors beyond description, and the boundaries between things seem to melt into light. These glasses don't just enhance vision, they literally awaken energy. It feels like my nervous system is tuning into a hidden symphony.

They’re a vivid reminder that what you think is “real” is only a small part of the picture. And there’s so much more to experience when you open your eyes.

How color nourishes you

While color may be decorative, it’s also a form of frequency-based nourishment. Different hues influence your system on emotional, mental, physical, and even spiritual levels.

  • Red ignites vitality and courage.

  • Blue calms and cools the mind.Green restores balance and heart coherence.

  • Purple expands your spiritual awareness.

  • Orange sparks joy and creativity.

  • Yellow sharpens focus and mental clarity.

Every space you inhabit, whether it’s your wardrobe, your home, your car, or your surroundings, is broadcasting a message to your energy field. The question is: what message is it sending?

When your world is coated in greyscale, what frequency are you feeding your cells?

Is color a distraction, or a pathway?

Of course, some spiritual traditions remove color intentionally. Monks wear saffron or brown. Nuns often dress in black and white. The idea is to eliminate distraction and turn the gaze inward.

What if color isn’t a distraction at all? What if it’s a direct pathway to awakening?

The Ancient Egyptians used color in their healing temples. Indigenous tribes across the world have long painted their bodies with symbolic hues for empowerment and vision. Many mystics describe color as geometry in motion, codes of consciousness that unlock deeper states of being.

Color isn’t something you simply look at. It’s something you can live inside of.

An invitation to re-palette your life

Perhaps it's time to reconsider your relationship with color, not just in your wardrobe or décor, but in your choices, your energy, and your daily vibration.

If you’re drawn to a particular color, pay attention, because your energy body may be calling for a shift, a tune-up, a return to resonance.

So the next time you choose a car, a piece of clothing, even a notebook or pen, ask yourself:

  • What frequency am I inviting in?

  • What version of myself am I amplifying?

Call to action: Bring color consciousness into your day

If you’re ready to color up your life, start small:

  • Add one vibrant object to your workspace.

  • Wear a bold hue you’ve avoided.

  • Explore color therapy or aura photography.

  • Or simply walk in nature and observe, more slowly, more fully.

Remember, color is a portal, a language, a frequency, and it’s calling you home. So why live in greyscale when you were born for full-spectrum brilliance?

As a keynote speaker, mentor, and multidimensional guide, I work with visionary leaders and seekers to access expanded states of intelligence, unlock dormant potential, and consciously rewire the reality they’re living.

If something in you knows it’s time for a new trajectory, one rooted in alignment rather than effort, reach out and let’s explore possibilities.
