Therese Lyander
Writer & Private Mentor
Therese Lyander is a Swedish writer and creative entrepreneur whose work explores the relationship between the body, human behaviour, and the deeper patterns that shape our lives.
Her background spans art, fashion, and cultural work. She began her career in London’s creative industries sewing costumes for West End theatre productions and working as a vintage and secondhand stylist, before returning to Sweden to curate art exhibitions in Stockholm.
A prolonged period of complex illness eventually redirected her life toward a deeper exploration of the body and human healing. After years navigating both conventional and alternative approaches to health, she began researching widely across fields such as trauma, nervous system regulation, nutrition, contemplative practice, and Human Design. These experiences profoundly shaped her understanding of the relationship between insight, embodiment, and long-term change.
Today, Therese writes about the body, trauma, and the psychological and cultural patterns that influence how we live. Her essays explore why intellectual understanding alone rarely transforms deeply held patterns, how meaningful change often begins in the body.
Alongside her writing, she works privately with a small number of clients each year through long-term mentorship focused on embodied change and nervous system regulation.
Therese is also Country Manager for the Nordics at Ninyes Inc., a circular fashion technology company based in Helsinki, and previously co-founded the plant-based café brand Fern & Fika in Stockholm.
She lives in southern Sweden with her family, where she continues to write and work at the intersection of body, culture, and human transformation.
