  • Kim van Dijk, Founder of MindCastle & ADHD Systems Expert, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

Kim van Dijk is the founder of MindCastle Creations, an entrepreneur, author, and ADHD systems coach dedicated to helping neurodivergent adults create lives that work with their brains instead of against them. After receiving an ADHD diagnosis as a child and experiencing several burnouts as an adult, Kim realised that the problem was rarely motivation. The real challenge was relying on systems designed for people whose brains work differently. That insight became the foundation of her work. She developed MindCastle Creations to provide practical, evidence informed tools that reduce friction in everyday life. Her products focus on creating external systems that support executive functioning rather than demanding more willpower. Her ADHD Planner has been used by thousands of customers worldwide, and her educational content reaches people looking for realistic alternatives to traditional productivity advice. Kim is also the author of It's Not You, It's Your System, a book that reframes ADHD through the lens of systems rather than personal failure. She is the creator of MindCastle Rewired™, an eight week coaching programme that helps participants build sustainable routines, improve emotional resilience, and create personalised systems they can actually maintain. Alongside her work in the ADHD space, Kim has built multiple businesses and combines entrepreneurship with practical coaching. Her writing focuses on ADHD, executive functioning, productivity, burnout recovery, habits, mindset, and designing environments that make success easier. Her mission is simple: help people stop blaming themselves and start building systems that let them thrive. • Dara Bradley, Breathwork Facilitator & Coach, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

Dara Bradley, based in Cork Ireland, is an experienced and multi-certified breathwork facilitator & breathwork coach, complimented with an academic background in psychology. She has spent years deeply immersed in the study of the mind & body relationship, allowing her to integrate scientific understanding with holistic somatic practices and therapeutic breathwork experiences. She first discovered Breathwork mid-covid 2020, during a very stressful time in her life and it changed her life in ways she couldn’t possibly have imagined at the time Medically, Dara had previously been diagnosed with the chronic autoimmune Graves Disease and had been on Hyperthyroid medication to help balance it aswell as exploring holistic ways to treat it naturally at the time. When her consultant had advised her that her body had responded well and that she could now stop taking the medication, she was delighted. But in 2020 when covid struck, all routine blood tests went out the window and so did the monitoring of her thyroid levels. Professionally, this period was extremely stressful and overwhelming for her. Her nervous system was constantly in a heightened state—stuck in 'fight or flight' mode—which made it nearly impossible to relax, sit still, or wind down. Unbeknownst to her at the time, her Graves’ Disease had returned—though she assumed it was just stress—leaving her hormones and nervous system completely out of balance and disrupting her sleep. During this time, she stumbled upon breathwork and tried a few short online 'taster' sessions. Almost instantly, she felt a shift: lighter, more at ease, alert, and noticeably more regulated. She was deeply intrigued by the power of the breath and was eager to understand more. A month or so later, during Christmas 2020, she found herself unable to travel home to her family due to being a close contact for COVID. While initially disappointing, this unexpected turn of events proved to be a blessing in disguise—one of those mysterious ways the Universe works. With quiet time and space to herself, she dove deeper into researching breathwork, particularly Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) and had the most profoundly transformative experience. In one powerful session, she received a message that would change everything—it was clear: this was her path, her purpose. Instead of sharing ham and turkey around the family table, she signed up for breathwork training. Shortly after, she made a bold and courageous decision—to leave behind her 16-year corporate career and fully commit to exploring, studying, and embodying the many forms of breathwork. A new world had been opened up to her—and one that her heart and soul was crying 'YES' to. From that moment on, a deeper journey with the breath truly began. She completed numerous trainings in various breathwork modalities, including Conscious Controlled Breathwork and Conscious Connected Breathwork, earning multiple certifications as a Trauma-Informed Holosomatic Breathwork Facilitator and Breathwork Coach. She proudly launched Mo Chuisle Healing Breath in February 2022, and the rest, as they say, is history. Mo Chuisle - pronounced Mu Kooish-la In Irish (as Gaeilge), A chuisle, mo chroí ’’ translates to ‘’Pulse of my heart’’, and shortened to ‘’Mo Chuisle’’ it means ‘’My Pulse’’. It is also used as a term of affection for ‘’My Darling’’ or ‘’My Love’’. (For those of you who have seen the beautiful film Million Dollar Baby this might resonate with you) Healing Breath because we have the power to heal ourselves if we just tap into our bodies wisdom and get the mind out of the way, by using the breath to do so. Healing Breathwork is a holistic and psychotherapeutic approach to self-care and self-healing, which can work on all levels including your physical, mental, emotional & spiritual well-being. This is more than just a breathing practice; it’s a full mind and body reset, it's a journey into the depths of your being, offering a pathway to profound healing and transformation, helping you to enter a deep meditative state, connecting you to your subconscious mind, unlocking your true potential and authenticity. Nothing is being done ‘’to you’’, you decide how deep you go with the breath. By engaging in conscious connected breathwork, you can shift internal stuck energy and tension, gaining clarity, insight, and intuition, activating your parasympathetic nervous system (relaxation state), leaving you feeling lighter & deeply relaxed with a profound sense of inner peace and compassion. We all have access to the best ‘’self care’’ tool there is, and it’s right under our nose ...our own breath! • Ana Postigo, Pilot, Neurocoach, and Writer, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

She is a professional pilot, former Crew Resource Management (CRM) instructor, neurocoach, NLP practitioner, and children’s book author, with formal training in aircraft accident investigation. Her work sits at the intersection of aviation, neuroscience, psychology, and lived experience, exploring how humans perform, decide, and recover under pressure. Her career began in aviation, one of the most demanding performance environments in the world, where emotional regulation, situational awareness, and decision-making are critical. As a former CRM instructor, she trained flight crews to manage risk, communicate effectively, and navigate human limitations in high-stakes situations, developing deep expertise in human factors and performance reliability. A personal trauma became a defining turning point in her journey. Faced with adversity, she began an intensive study of the mind, resilience, and recovery, not as theory but as necessity. What started as survival evolved into a profound fascination with how humans adapt, rebuild, and grow after disruption. Her training in aircraft accident investigation reinforced a powerful insight: failure is rarely technical alone. More often, it is human, rooted in stress, cognitive overload, fear, and unchallenged assumptions. This understanding became the bridge between aviation and her work with leaders, organizations, and individuals across industries. She expanded her expertise into neurocoaching and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), combining neuroscience, behavioral psychology, and practical tools to help people build clarity, confidence, and resilience under pressure. Her approach is grounded, evidence-informed, and shaped by real-world, high-consequence environments. Her work has reached far beyond aviation. She has coached clients in countries such as Colombia, Malawi, and post-conflict Lebanon, witnessing firsthand how individuals recover, adapt, and lead despite instability and trauma. Through extensive travel, she became fascinated by how culture and environment shape belief systems, resilience, and the way humans respond to pressure. Across borders and backgrounds, one truth remained consistent: the human capacity to recover is far greater than we are taught to believe. Committed to shaping future generations, she mentors aspiring female pilots through ISA+21, supporting young women entering high-performance, male-dominated fields. Her mentoring emphasizes self-trust, emotional intelligence, and confidence grounded in competence rather than perfection. She is also a children’s book author, using storytelling to introduce resilience, courage, and self-belief early in life. She believes that resilience is not only a leadership skill but a life skill, and that the foundations of confidence are often built long before adulthood. As a speaker, she translates lessons from aviation, trauma recovery, neuroscience, and global coaching into compelling insights for organizations and audiences navigating uncertainty, pressure, and change. Blending science with storytelling and vulnerability with authority, her talks challenge conventional ideas of performance and invite a deeper understanding of human potential. Her message is clear: pressure is inevitable, but breakdown is not. Resilience is a trainable skill. When people understand how they function under stress, they gain the ability to respond with clarity, courage, and purpose — especially when it matters most.
