Justyna Lyzwa, Certified Life Coach

Your journey is incredibly moving, from growing up around addiction to becoming a powerful coach and healer. What was the turning point when you realized you wanted to turn your pain into purpose?

When I realized I had the power to create change, not only in my own life, but also to help others recognize that this power to change lives within them, I knew I had a purpose. We are the creators of our lives, as cliché as it sounds. We truly create through our thoughts, emotions, and actions.

Growing up in a home where the real problems were brushed under the carpet, all my emotions, hurt, and pain were buried with them. I was an invisible child, unwilling to burden Mum and Dad with my struggles. I was shy, transparent, and almost non-existent.

In adulthood, the trauma struck hard. I collected diploma after diploma, trying to finally prove to myself that I was worthy of love. I climbed high on the career ladder, yet inside, I didn’t feel it. I was still that little, shy girl, desperately longing to be loved, accepted, and seen. That’s what I was yearning for: to be visible.

If I had the power to change anything in my past, I wouldn’t. I believe everything that happened served a higher purpose. Experiencing hardship and transforming pain led me to help others. When we transform pain, we gain wisdom. Most importantly, we discover the self that was suffering—the true self that couldn’t be present when we silenced that part of us.

We are no longer afraid to let our true selves live. This self is pure love. We are all pure love at our core. That’s why I am so passionate about helping others release their pain, gain wisdom, and become their purest expression of love. Love only wants to connect and support.

I thank God, the Universe, for the miracles of my own transformation and those of my clients.

You emphasize reconnecting with your inner power. What does “inner power” mean to you, and how can people begin to tap into theirs today?

Firstly, taking full responsibility for your life. No excuses, no blaming God, your spouse, or your friends for your circumstances. You are the creator here, not an observer. Once you truly understand this, you’ve already taken a massive step toward becoming a winner.

Secondly, believing in yourself and your capability. This self-belief is forged in the fire of hardship, failure, and heartbreak. Every time you stand back up and keep trying instead of giving up, you build the deep trust that you can count on yourself.

Thirdly, the courage to act upon your values. I use the word courage intentionally; it’s not easy to live in alignment with your values. For example, if someone values peace and harmony, how can they work for a company that sells weapons, knowing those products may contribute to conflict and suffering? If they want to live in their inner power, they must take the brave step to find a path that doesn't chip away at their integrity. This ties directly back to taking full responsibility for one’s life.

We can all take steps toward connecting with our inner power. Awareness is key; being conscious of your reactions and feelings is both the simplest and the most challenging thing to practice in daily life.

Understanding what you feel, think, and how you respond allows you to take full responsibility for your life. It gives you the strength to act, even when it’s uncomfortable or difficult. And this, in turn, builds self-belief and confidence.

You created your own method to heal limiting beliefs. Can you walk us through the essence of your approach and what makes it so transformative for your clients?

My coaching approach is built on the belief that the client already holds the answers to their deepest questions. As a coach, I act as a midwife, supporting their ideas and inner truths as they prepare to be birthed into the world. The transformation doesn’t come from me telling them what to do, but from creating space for their own wisdom to emerge.

I use the D.A.R.E. to Transform framework as the backbone of this journey:

  • Discover your true needs

  • Analyse obstacles and resources

  • Reflect and refine your insights

  • Empower yourself with action

This is not just a coaching conversation; it’s an ongoing process of growth. What sets my approach apart is that the real, lasting change happens between sessions. Each client leaves with intentional assignments that they actively choose, deepening the integration of the insights we've explored. These tasks become catalysts for self-discovery, healing, and personal momentum.

As a Reiki Master and someone who leads with empathy and intuition, I bring a unique sensitivity to each session. I tune into what’s beneath the surface, what’s not always said aloud, and use that awareness to guide the client toward clarity and breakthroughs. Whether it’s emotional blocks, energy imbalances, or subconscious patterns, I sense what might be needed to support their transformation holistically.

The name “UR a CURE” is powerful. What inspired this name, and how does it reflect the mission of your brand?

The name of my coaching company is deeply connected to my strongest belief and my mission: to help people reconnect with their inner power. UR a CURE means you already have everything you need to be your own medicine. You hold the answers to all your questions. Only you can give yourself love, happiness, safety, and understanding.

If you feel any lack, pain, or discomfort, don’t look outside yourself for answers. Ask within. The magic is that by turning inward, you receive guidance tailored specifically to you, and it will always be the right answer for you.

What’s challenging in the early stages of self-discovery is learning to distinguish between fear-driven responses, those trying to escape past traumas, and the quiet wisdom of your intuition, the voice of your soul. But the truth is, it’s all within you. We all carry this innate knowing; we just need to learn how to listen to it.

UR a CURE isn’t just a coaching method, it’s a movement. Through my podcast, UR a CURE: Inner Power, I share insights on trauma healing, emotional awareness, spirituality, and self-development, helping others ignite the transformation within.

If you could leave one message to every woman struggling with self-worth or feeling stuck in old stories, what would it be?

Be as true to yourself as you can be in this moment. Pause and gently observe the way you speak to yourself in your mind. Are you slipping into a victim role, blaming others, or even yourself? Is your inner voice harsh, critical, and unforgiving?

Begin simply by noticing. This act of observation is not passive; it’s revolutionary. Awareness cracks open the door to transformation. When you recognize you’re playing the victim, you’ve already taken a powerful step: you’ve separated yourself from the role. And if you're no longer the victim, then who are you? You become the conscious actor, the one choosing, creating, and leading.

This shift is profound. It signals to your entire being that you are not broken or helpless, you are aware, awake, and capable. This alone cultivates self-worth. Because when you’re aware of your inner dialogue, you begin to rewrite it. You speak to yourself with compassion, courage, and love, not because someone else said you are worthy, but because you feel it from within.

Remember, old stories are just that, stories. The only moment we can change anything is right here and now. Don’t wait another week or month, start now to change your life.
