You are not here to play it small and be held back by fears and negative self-talk, you are here for true fullfillment! In this article, you will get a few keys for how to build confidence that lasts.

Find your purpose in life and lead with passion

This is like a magnet that attracts both things and people into your life, that are aligned rather than forced. What will be a huge shift in your life is when you realise that you are a magnet for blessings, opportunities, and magical relationships when you are truly living in your purpose.

You might wonder why this is connected to building confidence, and the reason is because when you are aware of what fullfills you on a deeper level and you focus on what makes you feel passionate; it is very attractive because you are naturally less bothered about trying to be someone else than you are or focusing on finding fullfillment in others.

Focusing on what truly fulfills you will naturally make you feel more confident in who you are.

Create your dream self

Writing and getting super clear about who you want to be (which essentially means becoming your most authentic self, that you already are in your core) is key to getting where you want.

As with all goals in life, it is always helpful to have clarity to make a big change. So if you find yourself being insecure in social settings, or not feeling confident in the dating world, or wanting to feel more confident in your business/mission, you should start focusing on building your dream self.

In practicality, this looks like asking yourself a few questions and starting to write about your Dream self. The questions you can ask are:

If I were already more confident in the area/s in life that I currently wish for, what would I be speaking more about? How would I move differently? How would I be thinking about myself differently on a daily basis? Would my self-care rituals look different? Would I speak in a different way, laugh in a different way? Give and receive in a different way? Dress in a different way? Would I share about topics I haven’t spoken about before? Which topics? What would I be learning more about? Where would I spend more of my time, and with whom? In what rooms?

Go into detail here and keep asking yourself these types of questions until you feel like you have really covered your dream self.

Challenge yourself with a new practice each week

Now, as you have gotten clear on who you are becoming and who you truly are as the most confident you, it’s time to start playing fun games with yourself where you challenge yourself each week with a new action step until you have fully embodied it.

This can look like having a tough conversation with someone you love, that you have held back for a long time. It can look like going to a social event where you know you will have amazing opportunities for business, but you have procrastinated getting out in those environments for way too long.

It can also look like changing your wardrobe and your ‘external looks’ in a way that suits your natural self even more, even though you might feel uncomfortable at first. The outer and the inner world are always mirroring each other!

You will know exactly what you need to do if you are willing to be honest with yourself! This is a game of coming back to who you are rather than changing who you are to be someone else.

The more comfortable you become with the discomfort of challenging yourself, the more you will notice confidence building.

Build consistency as you become your dream self

Choosing to dedicate time and commitment to building confidence every day will create lasting change! Just as with building physical strength and health, you need consistency to see results.

As you live more with purpose, passion, and genuine fulfillment each day, while creating and becoming your new dream self, it is inevitable for you to feel a magnetic confidence that will help you create more love, happiness, and success in all areas of your life!
