We’re living during a stressful time. It’s difficult to balance responsibilities, obligations and somehow maintain sanity. Using subtle energy as a means of stress management and self-care can be life-changing, especially for those in high-stress positions. Many leaders in stressful environments experience burnout and mental health issues as a result of poor stress management.

Self-care isn’t all bubble baths and foot massages. It’s about taking time to replenish what’s inside—what really drives you to do what you do. Everyone experiences burnout and heightened stress levels, even those who seem put together. However, for those who work in an environment where their energy is constantly being drained, the effects may be more severe. This is where a subtle energy can help you. Subtle energy is an energy or a sensation that we can't see or touch, but we can feel it. It's a force that is all around us and within us. Creating a sense of awareness about these sensations and self-regulation is paramount to maintaining balance and stress management. How Subtle Energy Can Help Entrepreneurs and Corporate Executives

Since subtle energy is the life force or natural energy that sustains us, we need to pay attention to how it is affected. Many leaders are now looking to integrate self-care into their lives, and one way they are doing this is by using subtle energy tools. This trend has become popular for a few reasons, but it’s hardly a frivolous fad. Subtle energy healing deals with the energy fields in and around the body. It is an ancient modality that has been practiced for thousands of years. First, it can be used as a way to stay grounded and present with the world around us. Second, it offers a sense of calmness and grounding that can help people who are feeling stressed or overwhelmed. Finally, it can help people feel more connected to themselves and the world around them. Some of the most common ways to practice subtle energy healing are through meditation, prayer, mindfulness or light work. Using Subtle Energy as a Tool for Self Care and Stress Management

Feelings and emotions inform us about our energy states. When we feel drained or lethargic, that indicates a lack of energy. When we feel excited and motivated, that indicates a lighter, more boisterous energy.

Waiting for external circumstances to change or improve on its own is not an effective way to manage stress and develop effective self-care rituals. Internal awareness starts with acknowledging your subtle energy and recognizing your energetic state. From there, through the use of meditation, mindfulness, color therapy—or any other self-care practice—you can get a better sense of what’s going on internally.

A simple way to introduce subtle energy into your life is to incorporate meditation. You can start by following these steps:breaths in

  1. Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.

  2. Close your eyes and take deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.

  3. Focus on your breathing for five minutes, start with one minute if you find five minutes too long.

  4. If you find yourself thinking of other things, just bring your attention back to the breath.

  5. When you're done, open your eyes.

  6. This is optional, but you can write down what sensations you feel. When you understand how you feel internally, you can dig deeper to understand why you are experiencing these sensations, and what triggers them.

Another way to integrate subtle energy into your stress management is to practice mindfulness:

  1. Listen to your body. When you are stressed, your body will let you know by making changes like increased heart rate, shallow breathing, and sweaty palms. Learn to recognize the signs of stress in your body and take a break when necessary.

  2. Be kind to others. Try to be respectful to others. Negativity will only lead you to feel tired and overwhelmed with negative thoughts about yourself and the world around you.

Overcome Stress and Take Care of Yourself

Subtle energy healing can be used to release stress from your body so that you are able to think more clearly and make better decisions. This means increased productivity, reduced stress, and overall a better work/life balance.
