What inspired your focus on women´s strength and empowerment in your fitness practice?

My dedication to women´s strength and empowerment in fitness derives from my personal battle with eating disorders and body dysmorphia in my early 20s. During this challenging time of binge cycles, depression, and overtraining, I realized the need for a holistic approach to fitness. Leveraging my background in education and psychology and my experiences as a professional volleyball athlete, I understood how deeply fitness and mental health are intertwined. This realization, coupled with my academic studies, led me to develop a training system that teaches women proper lifting techniques and fosters a love for exercise based on healthy motivations. Additionally, I´ve built a community to provide the crucial support and accountability needed on this path. It’s a reflection of my journey and my commitment to helping women become their strongest selves, inside and out.

Given your goal of guiding women to be their strongest selves both mentally and physically, how is this philosophy of mind-body connection incorporated into your training sessions?

Incorporating the mind-body connection into my training sessions goes beyond the physical exercises. Our gym sessions emphasize being present and intentional in every movement, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of our bodies’ capabilities. This not only leads to physical transformations but also instills mental resilience. The strength and confidence that my clients develop in the gym often result in better resilience and a more assertive approach to facing challenges in their everyday lives. This practice is central to empowering and helping them realize their full potential in all aspects of life. Finally, while our workouts are intense and focused, I also encourage my clients to engage in practices like yoga, breath work, therapy, and meditation, which complement their physical training and contribute to their overall well-being.

Given your focus on impactful and transformative training, can you share what led you to specialize in Strength and Conditioning and Sports Performance and how these disciplines enhance your clients’ fitness journey and results?

I´m passionate about Strength and Conditioning and Sports Performance because of their incredible benefits, particularly for women. Developing more muscle is key – it´s not just about aesthetics; it’s about strength, improved metabolism, and long-term health. In my sessions, I emphasize the importance of correct form and individualized programming, ensuring safety and effectiveness. Additionally, staying updated with the latest developments in fitness is essential, not just for my clients but also for other trainers I educate. I´ve mentored two female trainers who are now integral parts of my team, working directly with clients. We prioritize continuous education and maintaining high qualifications to ensure we offer the best support. This approach has consistently resulted in more effective workouts and satisfied clients who see real results.

As we wrap up our conversation, could you share a memorable success story of a client

who experienced significant physical and mental transformations under your guidance?

Certainly! I love celebrating my clients’ wins! One memorable story is of a client who initially came to me to lose weight and “tone up.” But as we worked together, the transformation exceeded her physical goals. She crushed her fitness targets and gained incredible confidence. This newfound self-assurance led her to seek a well-deserved job promotion, which she got! Socially, she blossomed, joining new groups and even starting to travel solo, something she´d always wanted to do but was too scared. Watching her network expand and seeing her embrace new experiences with such enthusiasm was truly inspiring. Her journey is a vivid example of how fitness can unlock doors in every aspect of life.

Looking ahead, what are your future aspirations regarding your career as an Educator and a Trainer?

Looking forward, my heart is set on bringing more incredible female trainers into our fold. This isn´t just about growing our team; it´s about amplifying the support and empowerment we offer to every woman who walks through our doors. More trainers mean more shared experiences, more hands to uplift, and more success stories. I´m also passionate about hosting educational panels where we can spread knowledge and encouragement far and wide. It´s all about empowering women to discover and embrace their most confident selves – that´s the real growth I´m striving for.
