London Forbes is a fearless founder whose own journey of self-discovery illuminated the path to her success and her mission of helping others realise their own value and cultivate a strong personal brand and image. It is both an art and a science to cultivate and curate a successful image, and BYICON was born from this — a vision for authenticity, self-love, acceptance, and harnessing your most valuable asset, yourself, to cultivate a strong ROI.

London Forbes, Image Strategist

Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life so we can get to know you better.

My name is London and I founded BYICON, an image consultancy that shows people how to leverage their greatest asset… themselves. You see, cultivating a successful image isn’t just an art, it’s a science, and BYICON helps people understand and explore this. When it comes to expressing qualities like authenticity, self-love, and acceptance, I have a particularly insightful eye that helps people showcase these qualities through their image. I work with them to cultivate a powerful visual presence that benefits every aspect of their lives.

What is your business name and how do you help your clients?

My business is called BYICON. As an image consultant, I help individuals take control of their appearance using a specific set of tools and techniques that boost confidence and allow them to build a personal brand that leaves a lasting impression. Within this, I offer image consulting services, wardrobe consulting, confidence coaching, styling, and personal shopping. It’s a remarkably personalized service that my clients find a particularly rewarding and memorable experience.

What kind of audience do you target your business towards?

I work with clients who are looking to curate an image that accurately portrays their identity and aspirations. When it comes to success, there’s no set formula, so our experts work closely with clients to analyse, enhance, and maintain their image. Whether for professional or personal growth, we achieve remarkable results regardless of colour, gender, shape, or size.

Tell us about your greatest career achievement so far.

My greatest career achievement is launching BYICON and fully owning it. I experience a profound sense of fulfilment every time I open an email and read people’s comments. I love hearing about the impact I’ve had on their lives. The BYICON experience isn’t just inspiring for them but also for me.

Who inspires you to be the best that you can be?

I don’t have a specific individual who inspires me. To hark back to my previous answer, it’s the people I help who give me the greatest satisfaction and provide me with the driving force to carry on.

Tell us about your greatest career achievement so far.

It’s simply starting a business that I’m passionate about. I was in marketing before this, which I enjoyed a great deal. Being able to apply some of those same skill sets in my own business gives me an immense sense of gratification.

Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

There was a definite moment in my life when I realized how important it was to understand the first impressions that people make… how the way we dress and present ourselves tell a story. I want to help redefine people’s perception of image… what it means and how they can use it to their advantage. That’s what BYICON is all about.
