Microcurrent technology is in many aesthetic devices. The Dolphin Neurostim M.P.S. stands out by merging esthetics with complementary therapeutic benefits. This article explores alternative therapeutic methods to tone and lighten skin, address pain, range of motion, and physical and mental health from surgical and traumatic scars. Medical professionals underestimate the difficulties patients obtain from surgical scars that affect the body's cosmetic appearance, emotional well-being and physical movement limitations, even though they regularly see pain issues related to scars in patients. I discuss the life-changing potential of the Dolphin Neurostim M.P.S. T.E.N.S. device below, which can help with the previously mentioned issues.

Discovery and initial skepticism
I first experienced the Dolphin Neurostim M.P.S. device at an Energy Healers house party. I was surprised and delighted to see someone promoting the Dolphin Neurostim M.P.S. scar release treatment, which received tremendous positive feedback from anyone who experienced a session. My holistic aesthetic training, combined with a history of health-related scars, caused me to research this device further.
Investigating the technology
I learned that the Dolphin is a direct current microcurrent device miming the body's cellular electrical charge or microcurrent energy. It increases the ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) of the body's cells 150 times. It stimulates the circulatory, lymphatic, skeletal, muscular and nervous system. Dolphin M.P.S. Research studies show a dramatic reduction in the post-ultrasound image of scars. It releases endorphins (pain relief hormone), puts the body in a parasympathetic state (relaxed state), and encourages the body's autonomic (involuntary) system to heal better.
Medical-grade classification
This microcurrent device stands out because it is medical grade, and Health Canada approves it to treat long-haulers of COVID-19. Therapeutic sessions penetrate very deep and are longer-lasting, with superior quality results. This classification is essential for ensuring safety and efficacy. I purchased the device and took the introductory and advanced courses for scar-release therapies.
Dolphin M.P.S. neurostim versus T.E.N.S.
T.E.N.S., an acronym for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, is a cost-effective and drug-free method for treating acute and chronic pain. It is a small battery-powered device used near the pain's source. The device delivers an alternating current via cutaneous electrodes, which provides temporary relief while not healing the cause of the pain. On the other hand, the Dolphin device mimics the direct electrical current of the human body. This feature helps heal with regular accumulative use over time while relieving temporary pain—an added benefit for ailments requiring long-term healing.
Fascia's function and limitation
Superficial fascia is connective tissue underneath the skin's superficial adipose layers. It consists of a network of loosely woven collagen and elastic fibres. It has a rich nerve supply as well.
The deep fascia is the connective tissue below the superficial fascia, which wraps bones, muscles, nerves, and blood vessels. It is more fibrous and is rich in hyaluronan. It has a good nerve, blood and lymphatic supply. There are two subtypes of deep fascia that I won't describe.
Problems related to scars from surgery and injury
When sufficiently lubricated, the fascia stretches as you move and has nerves that make it sensitive. When our body heals from a surgical procedure or severe injury, the two layers merge during the release of the collagen rebuilding and recycling enzymes (M.M.P.), creating difficulty in movement. When stressed, it tightens up.
Contractures: Skin not adequately cared for when healing from injury or surgery develops cross-linked collagen fibres that form into scars. These scars that form in the surrounding skin can cause bothersome contractures. We may only notice them in areas that are challenging to move. Yet they passively affect all areas because the scarring tightens the skin's edges together - this decreases the skin's size and directly reduces muscle, joint, and tendon movement. The scar also interferes with the lymphatic and blood circulatory flow, affecting repair in other body areas.
Personal benefits
After receiving Dolphin M.P.S. treatments, my osteopathic therapies were more effective. She spaced my treatments further apart as my issues resolved themselves. Pain, which I believed was from repetitive motions, was from scars that adhered my skin to my fascia, tendons and muscles. The device took away the pain I felt was gained from repetitive movements. My scars became less dense and more transparent with accumulative use. It also removes the pain from a fresh wound because it enhances the healing to a later stage. I've seen it stop bleeding burns and prevent facial disfigurement.
Client success cases
Since 2019, I've experienced the Dolphin M.P.S., removing the pain from a post-hip operation scar. He had been searching for pain relief for years. It improves the range of motion for breast cancer survivors. I treated a two-year-old surgical scar on a woman located between her neck and jawline. It improved her head rotation and ability to perform the exercises the physiotherapist had recommended. Her smile improved each time I treated her. Scar reduction treatments can provide emotional relief and enhanced well-being for clients with various surgical scars.
A client came in with a 17-day-old" Brown Recluse" spider bite. Brown Recluse spider bites have a necrotizing effect on tissue and are difficult to heal. The severity of the bite varies from person to person. Despite the pain and discharge, the client worked for 17 days. I offered to help and treated the spider bite for 50 minutes with the Dolphin Neurostim M.P.S. I also used my red light on her for 10 minutes. The client noted that the redness had noticeably decreased after the treatments. She noticed it was a bit smaller, and the tissue regenerated much faster for 48 hours after the treatment. Five and a half days later, she sent me an updated photo showing that the skin looked much healthier and some necrotic tissue was filling in. Her arm felt pain-free. She requested another treatment on day 34. I treated her for 60 minutes with the Dolphin. The cherry red colour of the spider bite lightened. Four days later, she happily informed me that the blistered, reddened circumference of the spider bite released residual fluid for two days, after which the body could heal the area on its own. Two and a half months later, the skin appeared light pink. A year later, she had no scarring or redness. I have included a series of pictures of the Spider Bite in this article.
A client had two cysts removed that were vertically close together along the center of the back of his neck. The first set of stitches healed well. A few months later, they removed the second cyst, and the client had partially unhealed stitches and experienced difficulty turning his neck from left to right. I treated him with the Dolphin, which sped up the healing of the second surgical wound. He was delighted to be able to turn his neck from side to side once again.
I treated a scar along a client's cervical vertebrae three times. Each time, she gained more mobility with her neck movement.
I helped a young woman who had an abdominal scar from a tummy tuck and was experiencing pain from a liposuction plastic surgery procedure in her buttocks. Invisible "phantom" scarring from operations or repetitive motions can occur under the skin.
The best time to prevent scarring is when the skin is in the active stage of healing. I tested it as a tool for rejuvenating skin. It tones the muscles and corrects droopy eyes. My website has images of my Dolphin sessions under microcurrent on my website and social media pages. The longer the sessions, the better the results. Clients are delighted with their results.
Its speedy production of cells prevented scarring on my olive skin tone, which typically scars after I remove facial moles and skin tags. It's also practical for clearing up bruising quickly. Depending on the skincare choice, it tightens skin and lightens the pigmentation on some skin types.
Personal reflection and emotional healing
My life experiences validate the company's education, suggesting a link between scarring and physical and emotional health. I recognized a connection between a childhood wrist scar, two Achilles tendon scars from my twenties, and subsequent heart palpitation issues that developed years later. The device's impact on the human body's 12 meridian lines resonates with my emotional and physical well-being. I've also used it to stimulate my reflex points when getting a reflexology treatment wasn't convenient.
I only utilize the Dolphin M.P.S. effects on scar reduction and skin rejuvenation. This tens-like device is covered if you have benefits and is in many professional therapists' toolboxes, who can offer so much more. It is an over-the-counter product approved by the FDA for anyone to purchase. Search their "Find the Practitioner" website for a professional holistic cosmetic and physical aid approach.
Conclusion
Our skin decreases reproduction every year as we age. The Dolphin Neurostim M.P.S. mimics and multiplies the same microcurrent emitted by our cells. I've witnessed its microcurrent's potential for enhancing cosmetic beauty appearance in aesthetics with facial care with its skin toning, lightening, and scar prevention. It's widely known for preventing scars and wellness by making scars less dense to increase mobility.
The Dolphin Neurostim M.P.S. offers the multifaceted benefits of microcurrent technology, which is helpful for esthetics, scar reduction, reflexology, and other wellness practices.
