Sarah Fernandez

Psychologist | Youth Mental health Specialist | Advocate for Children and Adolescents

Sarah began her professional journey as a teacher, spending over a decade working closely with children and fostering a deep connection with her students. She earned her Bachelor's in Education, which laid the foundation for her passion for working with young people. Later, she pursued a Master’s in Business Administration, broadening her skills in leadership and management. But it was the personal experience with her sister that truly shaped her calling—an undeniable pull toward psychology and youth mental health. Witnessing her sister’s challenges without fully understanding what was happening sparked a profound desire to explore the inner workings of the mind, especially in children.

Determined to make a difference, Sarah applied for a scholarship to pursue her second Master’s degree, this time in Psychology, and was awarded the opportunity. She thrived in the program, fueling a hunger for deeper knowledge and insight into the mental and emotional development of children and adolescents.

As Sarah’s academic and professional journey unfolded, she specialized in youth mental health, dedicating herself to understanding the challenges faced by young people. Her expertise spans a variety of topics, from anxiety and depression to developmental disorders and behavioral challenges, and she is committed to staying at the forefront of the latest research in this ever-evolving field.

Today, Sarah is a passionate advocate for children and adolescents, driven by the belief that every young person deserves to be heard, understood, and supported. She is deeply committed to empowering youth, offering them the tools and resources they need to thrive emotionally and mentally. Sarah’s work is not just a career, it is her mission, shaped by personal experience and a deep-rooted desire to make a lasting impact on the mental health of the next generation.
