  • Nina Schlaghecke, Breathwork & Kundalini | Holistic Facilitator, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

Hi, I’m Nina, the founder of Inner Balance Company. I guide people in reconnecting with themselves through breathwork and Kundalini.   I grew up in Amsterdam with a deep curiosity about health and wellness. Over the years, practices like sports, nutrition, breathwork, Kundalini, and cold training have shaped my understanding of balance and well-being.   Breathwork came into my life during a challenging time and became a powerful tool to face old pain, release tension, and find clarity and presence. It helped me process deep emotional layers and reconnect with myself in a more truthful way. That opened the door to healing and growth.   As I stayed consistent with the practice, I felt more steady, more present, and more connected. When combined with Kundalini energy, it unlocked deep transformation - helping me tap into my inner power and bringing a sense of clarity, balance, and alignment.   I naturally create a warm, welcoming space and enjoy guiding others in this work. Each session is personal, grounded, and supportive of your process.   As a certified breathwork coach (Mr. Breath), yoga teacher (Sampoorna Yoga India, Rise and Shine Yoga Ibiza), and Kundalini facilitator (Mu-Coaching), I offer an approach that brings together diverse tools to support your journey. Nina Schlaghecke Executive Contributor Breathwork & Kundalini | Holistic Facilitator Executive Contributors at Brainz Magazine are handpicked and invited to contribute because of their knowledge and valuable insight within their area of expertise. • Lori Cox, CEO & Founder, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

Lori Cox is an experienced business and technology leader, entrepreneur, and founder of Phoenix Arbor whose work explores the intersection of meaningful success, wellbeing, resilience, and human potential. Over more than 20 years, Lori has built a career spanning entrepreneurship, marketing, business development, revenue leadership, and technology. She founded and grew Red Dragon Marketing before its acquisition in 2019 and later held senior leadership roles in fast-moving business and technology environments. Along the way, her own experience with burnout and reinvention prompted a deeper question: What if succeeding in our work and caring for ourselves were never meant to be opposing choices? That question led Lori to study and practice Ayurveda, meditation, wellbeing coaching, and behavior change, and ultimately to found Phoenix Arbor. She is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, a certified Ayurveda Instructor and Meditation Instructor through Chopra Global, and holds an Executive MBA from Saint Mary's University. Today, Lori leads a team of practitioners at Phoenix Arbor who develop and deliver wellbeing and leadership experiences designed to help people create greater clarity, resilience, alignment, and sustainable change. Her own writing and speaking explore resilience beyond grit, sustainable ambition, the wisdom we can learn from nature, and the human capacities that become increasingly important as technology and AI accelerate our lives. Rather than offering another formula for how people should live, Lori's work helps create the awareness and space to see more clearly, reconnect with what matters, and make more intentional choices about what comes next. • Linn Kristin Angell, Intuitive Educator, Author, Speaker & New Earth Guide, Premium Partner at Brainz Magazine

Linn Angell is an intuitive educator, writer, and founder of 144 Education NGO, working at the intersection of education, conscious living, and human transformation. Her work focuses on creating more compassionate and human-centered approaches to learning, leadership, and aligned creation for the New Generation. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Teaching and Social Anthropology and Psychology, and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Leadership in Education. Through advanced studies in higher-consciousness teaching and learning and through her visions, she developed the Pedagogic Meditation framework - a methodology integrating presence, visualization, breathing techniques, and heart-centered learning into modern education. After years of classroom experience, Linn became increasingly aware of the growing disconnection many students experience from creativity, motivation, emotional wellbeing, and inner purpose. This led to her long-term vision of helping co-create a new educational model - 144 Education, designed to support both academic growth and human development for a more conscious future. Alongside her educational work, Linn entered a deeper journey of self-transformation and exploration of what she describes as the New Light - a shift toward more conscious, love-centered living and creation. This process became the foundation for her calling to support others in releasing karmic patterns, reconnecting with purpose, and anchoring aligned creation in their lives and work. This journey eventually led to the creation of two core frameworks for the new paradigm: Pedagogic Meditation (144) for educators and schools, and the Light Warrior framework for conscious Coaches. Her work is grounded in one central vision: to contribute to a more conscious and compassionate world through education, aligned creation, and the transformation of fear into love. • Darren Jewell, Inspirational Speaker, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

Darren Scott Jewell is a NeuroResilience Coach, inspirational speaker and a brain injury thriver who helps people build calm, focus and confidence by working with the brain and nervous system, not against them. His work is rooted in lived experience. After a childhood balcony fall, Darren grew up believing his struggles were "just the way he was." In adulthood, he discovered something life-changing, one-third of his brain was non-functional since that early injury. Instead of accepting limitation as his identity, he committed to training his brain with gentle, consistent practices grounded in neuroplasticity. Over time, Darren rebuilt cognitive-function, strengthened emotional regulation and learned that real resilience isn't hardness, it's steadiness. He now teaches others how to create sustainable change without burnout, using practical tools that make the body feel safe enough to grow. His approach blends neuroscience, habit design, compassion, turning overwhelm in clear and next steps people can actually follow. Darren's mission has been intensified by family experience. He lost his mum, Elizabeth to vascular dementia after a long fight in October 2025 and his dad lives with a mix of vascular dementia and Alzheimer's. That reality fuels Darren's commitment to helping reduce the number of lives these cruel illnesses affect, through education, prevention-focused lifestyle change and the daily training that keeps the brain as healthy as possible. Whether he is on stage, coaching or creating content, Darren is known for translating complex brain science into reliable, human language. His message is simple and powerful: You are not broken you are patterned and with the right support and repetition, patterns can be updated. • Michael Ritchie, Transformational Coach, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

In 2011-12, I was told I had 6 months to a year to live. My awakening began years prior, though this was the first time I’d become aware of it. Being told you are about to die can do that. At the time, I was on so much medication that I barely left my bed. Biologic injections, pain killers, muscle relaxants, nerve deadening, Asthma, blood pressure, and diabetes medications, the pharmaceutical cocktail left me miserable and barely cognizant, yet did little to relieve the pain. Driving home, I racked my brain for answers, as the doctor was clear there was nothing left in his bag of tricks. I remembered watching videos of monks doing incredible things in meditation and decided I had nothing to lose. And this is where it all began. Had the Universe been waiting for me? I’d tried meditation, though I was never able to make it past 5 minutes, as I was too busy - as an E.V.P. & Board member of an Int. Ins. Co., I was too important. Funny how a death sentence lets you see what’s important, what’s not. This was the day I received my first Kundalini awakening, and like everyone else, I thought I was done! It was life-changing. Everything was altered, the course forever corrected. Though I believed I’d won, it was only the beginning. Since that eventful day, I’ve dedicated my life to understanding enlightenment. I am a Transformational Coach, Sound Healer, Numerologist and Human Design practitioner, Sacred Medicine Holder and channeler of energy from the Eternal Creator. I am the in-house healer/teacher/mentor/coach at Harmony P.E.C., lead the sacred healing team and co-facilitate the virtual Universal Foundations and Adept Courses to help seekers better understand their power & path. Not only has this work granted me knowledge, but also personal experiences that, when accompanied by knowledge, create the wisdom of clarity. I have traversed the Universe, received encyclopedic downloads, embodied the energies of Aliens, Angels and Archetypes, channelled healing energies, embodied the Rainbow and pure white light bodies and become One with the Creator. The experiences have humbled me and repeatedly shown me the oneness and interconnectedness of all. None is better than another, just as no cell is better than another within your body! We are not equal - we are different, yet the same, as each is an independent perspective of the Infinite Creator experiencing itself. We have entered the most important time in seventy-five thousand years. Mother Earth is ascending and leaving the third density. Those vibrationally ready will join her, though preparation time is growing short. • Matilda Wayte, Neuroscientist , Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

Matilda Wayte is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Neuroscience Researcher based in Newcastle, NSW, Australia, whose work explores what happens in the brain and body when people experience trauma — and what it takes to heal. She holds a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology from Queensland University of Technology, a Graduate Certificate in Neurological Rehabilitation from Edith Cowan University, and a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health and Neuroscience. In her professional life, she works as a Rehabilitation Consultant within the NSW workers' compensation system, coordinating complex return-to-work outcomes across multidisciplinary teams. Her clinical lens spans neurological rehabilitation, mood and personality disorders rooted in early trauma, and the physiological underpinnings of mental health. What makes Matilda's perspective distinctive is the thread of lived experience woven through her academic and professional work. She doesn't approach trauma as a distant clinical concept — she understands it from the inside. That integration of the personal and the scientific is what drives her to make neuroscience accessible to people who need it most. Through her platform @theneuro.ep, Matilda creates research-grounded content for a broad public audience — translating emerging science on trauma, brain health, and emotional wellbeing into clear, meaningful language. Her writing for Brainz Magazine continues that mission: bringing rigorous, compassionate neuroscience to readers who are navigating their own paths toward understanding and healing.
