  • Andy Travis, Therapist , Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

In 1988, when Andy Travis was 17, his mother began training to be a Lifeline telephone counsellor. She would often talk to him about it. He was fascinated. The following year, Andy had a series of out-of-body experiences. They confirmed what he'd been reading about the parallels between mysticism and quantum physics. He embarked on a life-long journey of meditation. In his early 30s, a mood disorder and addictive patterns led him to 12 Step peer-support groups, where he continues to volunteer today. He established Meeting Point Counselling in 2016.   Andy’s a spoken-word poet and a former community radio host. He has a Diploma of Counselling, an Advanced Diploma of Transpersonal Counselling and a Diploma of Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapy. He’s studied/taught meditation for 36 years, practised 12-step addiction recovery for 16 years and has6 years experience as a men's group facilitator. Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and GESTALT inform his work as a transpersonal counsellor. ‘Transpersonal’ means transcending the ordinary sense of self. If you want, he can facilitate your exploration of ‘non-ordinary states of consciousness’ (without mind-altering substances). This could enable you to access more inner resources than ordinary talk therapy could.   Please feel free to contact him to arrange a free 15 minute phone conversation, so you can see if he’s the right counsellor for you. • Chandra Zas, The Health Coach for Falling in Love with Healthy, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

Hi, I’m Chandra Zas, I am the health coach who helps humans fall-in-love with healthy. I treat "healthy" as an accumulation of making daily loving decisions that serve our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The two greatest organs impacting our health, wellness, and performance are our brain and our gut. Our brain and gut are more interconnected than most think. We have more input than we take responsibility for: diet, stress, and lifestyle habits are what create health or lack of. Did you know that our gut sends more signals to our brain than our brain does to our gut? Our bodies have deep wisdom and an incredible ability to heal itself, I call it being your "Own Body Expert." Every day, in practice with my clients, symptoms that they have been tolerating and or medicating for years, will heal. Simply because they’re responding to life's stressors and feeding their bodies differently by applying the process they learn in my Food and Mood Program. Health is not about restriction, guilt, force, or fear of missing out. Health is falling in love with feeling good. It is a lifestyle that is sustainable because it feels truly and deeply good. As a client, I work with you and your relationship with yourSelf, with your mind, and with your body every step of the way, to get you feeling, being, and radiating healthy. • Alex Mellor-Brook, Co-Founder of Select Personal Introductions, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

From the outside, Alex Mellor-Brook’s career might look like a collection of accolades: Co-founder of a multi-award-winning matchmaking agency, Vice Chair of the UK’s dating industry governing body, and a regular commentator across television, radio, podcasts and the press. Yet, behind the titles lies a career spanning almost three decades, guided by one mission: helping people find and sustain meaningful relationships.   Alex began his career in dating and relationships over 28 years ago, recognising how complex and often discouraging the search for love could be. This inspired him to co-found Select Personal Introductions, a premium dating and matchmaking agency that supports professionals, entrepreneurs, celebrities, and high-net-worth singles who value privacy, compatibility, and lasting connections. What started as a boutique service has since grown into a global enterprise built on trust, expertise and discretion.   Alongside leading his team, Alex is an Accredited International Matchmaker and Science-based Relationship Coach. His approach combines empathy, strategy, and science, focusing not only on introductions but also on providing clients with the tools to nurture relationships once they have begun.   Widely recognised as an authority on modern relationships, Alex is a trusted media expert whose insights have been featured on ITV, BBC, Fox News, TalkTV and national radio. His expertise has also been featured in leading publications, including The Sunday Times, Cosmopolitan, GQ, and The Independent. Alex Mellor-Brook Co-Founder of Select Personal Introductions From the outside, Alex Mellor-Brook’s career might look like a collection of accolades: Co-founder of a multi-award-winning matchmaking agency, Vice Chair of the UK’s dating industry governing body, and a regular commentator across television, radio, podcasts and the press.
