A daily 6 AM practice helped me reclaim my energy, focus, and joy. Discover the simple 7 habits that will transform your life. You’re about to discover how to create the most extraordinary life you’ve ever imagined, starting right now.

A smiling woman in a sleeveless maroon outfit sits in a white chair by a large window with a city view.

Most mornings set you up for stress or success.

For years, mine were setting me up for burnout.

I’d wake up already tired, overwhelmed, and behind on chasing to-do lists before I’d even brushed my teeth. My energy was low, my patience was thin, and the quiet pressure to “keep it all together” was constant.

Sound familiar?

Like so many women juggling careers, family, and the endless demands of modern life, I didn’t realise how disconnected I’d become from myself.

How many times have you said, I’d love to do that, but I don’t have time’? We all have an hour to dedicate to building the life we want, whether we think we do or not.

Then I discovered a simple truth: how you start your day shapes your day. And how you live your days shapes your life.

That’s when I created something I now call the BE GREAT Morning Practice, not out of perfection, but out of necessity. My Power Hour: how to focus on your goals and create a life you love.

The image outlines the "BE GREAT Model," a personal growth framework with seven steps: Breathe, Energy, Gratitude, Read, Educate, Affirmations, and Take Action.

The BE GREAT morning practice: 7 habits to start strong

Be GREAT is a 7-step daily framework designed to align your body, mind, and soul in under 60 minutes.

Here’s how it works:

  • Breathe: Cultivate calm through intentional breathing/meditation

  • Energy: Move your body to shift your state (even just 5 minutes)

  • Gratitude: Shift your mindset with daily gratitude

  • Read: Expand your mind with personal growth books

  • Educate: Learn something that grows your skills or spirit

  • Affirmations: Reinforce positive beliefs

  • Take action: take inspired action towards your goals

What happened when I tried 30 days at 6 AM

I didn’t expect it to change my entire life, but it did.

I had more energy. I felt calmer. My focus sharpened. I started living on purpose instead of just reacting to whatever the day threw at me.

My Power Hour showed me how to harness the first hour of my day to achieve my goals all before the rest of the world wakes up and starts competing for my attention, from the importance of developing a growth mindset to creating powerful habits. It will help you reclaim your time and unlock your full potential.

Most importantly, it will make you realise that it is always possible to make a change and create a life you love.

And I wasn’t alone. Inside our Between Friends community, hundreds of women are experiencing the same shifts from waking up with more motivation to finally feeling in control of their mornings.

Because here’s the thing: it’s not about being perfect, it’s about being present.

And it’s not about having more time, it’s about making your mornings mean something.

STOP waiting for the right time, or for more time. Start with just 5 minutes today.

Try the 5-minute version

You don’t need to wake up at 6 AM (though it helps!).

Here’s a mini practice you can do in just 5 minutes:

  1. Breathe: 1 minute of deep breathing

  2. Gratitude: Write down 3 things you’re grateful for

  3. Read: 1 page of a growth-focused book

  4. Affirmations: Speak one sentence out loud (e.g., I am capable, I am loved)

  5. Take action: Write down one thing you’ll do for yourself today
