Humanizing Healthcare Through Engaging Digital Marketing Solutions – Interview with Samantha Williams

Samantha Williams began her career in Ophthalmology as a certified technician interested in the medical field and positional growth. She made her way up the ladder from billing to surgical coordinator to managing an office at the age of 23. After retiring from the field to grow her family, she reimagined the medical field in a digital style. In a rapidly evolving digital world, Samantha created Interconnections with a simple mission: to humanize healthcare through strategic content that builds trust, drives engagement, and supports practice growth.

Who is Samantha Williams?

Samantha Williams is a creative entrepreneur who aims to make an impact in the healthcare community through elevated content and open discussions with medical professionals.

What inspired you to specialize in helping healthcare practices grow their reach through customized marketing?

I researched the lack of connection between doctors and patients. Social Media helps a doctor’s audience stay informed.

How does your agency tailor its strategies to reflect a practice’s unique values and patient base?

Each practice or medical facility is uniquely different. I’ve hired a team of medical professionals to not only create elevated content but also research each practice’s location and specialty. This allows us to create a tailored strategy for each client.

What are the most common marketing challenges you see for medical providers today, and how do you solve them?

Medical providers are BUSY. To keep their audience informed and involved, it’s important to understand each client’s brand, goals, and who they are as a doctor. Personalization is key when it comes to social media growth for providers. We set quarterly meetings to review progress and reports so we can adjust and pivot to the social media community while our clients can focus on their patients.

How do you ensure your content and campaigns are HIPAA-compliant yet compelling for patients?

We follow all HIPAA rules and regulations, all the while still creating elevated, engaging content.

Which marketing channel or tactic is currently delivering the strongest results for healthcare clients, and why?

Facebook works well for delivering ads, while Instagram and TikTok allow for a more engaging, interactive growth. The overall goal for each platform is to convert the audience into potential leads.

Can you describe a real success story where you turned patient engagement into measurable growth for a clinic?

At Interconnections, we answer many comments and messages. We represent Modern Psychiatry social media platforms. A very large and expanding Psychiatry group nationwide. Our Facebook ads have converted multiple viewers into live patients. These patients reach out through private messaging and then are redirected to the main phone number or the website for new patient paperwork.

How does your long-term partnership model differ from a one-time campaign in driving sustainable growth?

Interconnections offers hands-on consistency. We reply to each comment and message. We keep up with the trends, adjust our content, and review monthly reports to pivot if necessary. Each day, week, and month is different for each client, a one-time campaign couldn’t possibly keep up with modern medicine today.

What metrics do you track to show a healthcare provider that their marketing investment is paying off?

Monthly and quarterly reports on each social media platform.

How do you help providers build trust with their community and turn that trust into new patient relationships?

Elevated and informative content. The real trust is created with personalized videos, photos, and testimonials.

What should a medical practice look for when choosing a marketing partner, and why are you the ideal choice?

A medical practice should look for a hands-on marketing team that is ready to understand its brand and patients. Interconnections only hires medical professionals to create content, research location practices, create collaborations, respond to potential patients, and follow HIPAA. No AI, just real experienced humans working on each account 24/7. No bots, just real followers.

If a provider is ready to grow but unsure where to start, what’s your first step when you begin working with them?

We start with an intro strategy meeting, which helps us to better understand our clients’ goals. We then decide on platforms. (Interconnections works with all social media platforms.) We choose the optimal time of day for each piece of elevated content we create. Our clients receive a content calendar link at the end of each month for next month’s approval. Clients can be as involved as they want to be or as hands-off as they want to be. Either way, their social media grows, their schedule gets filled, their revenue increases, and we haven’t lost a client yet.
