Have you noticed the gap?

The gap between how you’ve imagined this phase of your business to be and how it actually feels now, when you’re experiencing it?

The gap between your vision board (the shining car, the smiling clients, the audience clapping at each word you say, your team being so grateful for being in your proximity) and how it actually feels to experience that reality: the fear that you might lose it all, the constant doubts of how will you create more of this success, the pressure behind the scenes to maintain your audience satisfied, the uncomfortable meetings with your team members when raw conversations need to be led.

As business owners and rebel dreamers, we often think that “when we’ll have x amounts of clients” and “we’ll make y amounts of money”, then the business will just get easy, full of pleasure and relaxation. A magic game where failure is never present.

When those perfect expectations aren’t matching our real life, we inevitably feel disappointed.

Here is the truth: success isn’t about perfect, unreal scenarios.

Success is actually connected to your ability to hold more of the same energy.

Read that again.

Success is connected to your ability to hold:

more of the clients that you love working with right now,

more of the same amount of money you currently have,

more of the visibility you currently get in your business,

more of the few followers you have on social media.

more of the energy that already is in your life right now.

The problem is that most people resist this natural expansion.

We’re scared to hold more.

If fear is already uncomfortable now when 4 clients ask for a refund, imagine how it would feel when 100 clients ask for a refund.

If the body is sweating now when 100 people come to see you live on IG, imagine the pressure when there are at least 1000 people listening to your live speech.

As children, we haven’t been properly educated on how to manage our emotions, our feelings.

Particularly, we were never taught how to hold space for the “uncomfortable” ones like: disappointment, fear, anger, pain, rejection, criticism, etc.

So here you are, trying to achieve the next milestone in your business.

And business growth means: the same energy multiplied.

The same emotions multiplied.

At each level of growth, from 5K to 20K, from 20k to 50k, to multiple 6 figures, to 1M… you’ll go through different events, circumstances in which you're invited to hold more: more celebration, more joy, more pleasure, more tears, more pressure, more doubts, more courage, more confidence.

Emotions, feelings, thoughts, they ALL come with you, at the next level.

You get to experience them at the next level – multiplied, just as fast as your money and clients get multiplied. It is more of the same you had when you started.

Our ability to be true leaders is directly connected to our willingness to embody emotional intelligence. Successful leadership is linked with our ability to sit with emotional duality, to be able to enjoy success even when things don’t feel perfect.

This isn’t about by-passing pain. It’s about feeling it all, holding space, walking with duality, normalising the emotional depth that comes with growth and business success.

The more the numbers grow (in sales, in clients, in followers, in fans, in critics) the more you’re invited to hold space for deeper emotions and feelings. You can’t escape this duality.

And this emotional depth – as challenging as it might feel – comes with the greatest gifts of all: your personal power.

The more you learn how to navigate emotions and feelings, no matter the outcomes and the decisions you make, the more personal power you will gain. Why? Because if you master your emotions and feelings, what else is there to fear?

If you knew you might fail and that it would hurt AND you know how to deal with pain, integrate it, then what can stop you from making the next move?

Stop for a moment and become aware:

You don’t fear the speech itself,

You don’t fear the launch itself,

You don’t fear the business meeting itself,

You don’t even fear failure, rejection itself…

You fear the sensations that those experiences create into your body.

You fear that you’ll have to live and go through uncomfortable feelings. And since our society never taught us how to properly manage emotional depth, it gets scary.

Our true power is unleashed when we no longer feel the need to “protect” ourselves from feeling certain emotions. We get to master our emotions and manage to feel safe, even if bad thighs were to happen in our business.

With emotional depth, we also get to take our business conversations to a next level: we get to create relationships and partnerships based on trust and authenticity. Having an authentic conversation might feel both uncomfortable and liberating at the same time. Might feel scary and empowering at the same time.

Emotional depth will also determine how much fulfillment and gratitude you’re able to feel when you become a really successful leader.

Truth is: if you’re not allowing yourself to feel fulfillment and gratitude right now when you have 1-100 clients, not much will change when you get to millions.

You think it will.

But when it comes to actually feeling it, not much will change.

Because in the same way you feel a fraction of emotion, in that same way you’ll experience that same emotion when it’s multiplied.

This is the reason why some leaders achieve fame and feel emptiness within: their emotional depth didn’t evolve as much or as fast as their business did.

We have to realise that when we ask for more in life we actually desire to experience more of the emotions, sensations, feelings that come with that “MORE”. And we will be given everything that comes with “more”, not just the rainbows and unicorns.

And the beauty of it all: the more we sit with what and how we feel, the less we fear it. Our power grows. Our perception of what we’re capable of creating and holding, evolves. True leadership is born and business mastery is achieved.
