It’s a warm summer morning when Karen Yee arrived on camera via Zoom. Her face is bare apart from the black eyeliner and a warm, infectious smile. When we ask her how, specifically, she wants people to think of her—because that’s what you ask someone on the verge of her big breakout moment—she doesn’t hesitate: “the next triple threat”. Business Owner. Coach. Philanthropist. She’s still figuring out the latter. So, what do you ask the next triple threat to the online digital space? – K Dog, Karry, Karrot, Kkay

2. My favorite toy growing up was…

– My Pooh Bear and Mickey Mouse that my parents got me for my birthday.

3. The weirdest habit I have is..

– “had” for me. I used a band-aid to save my goldfish that had biting marks from another fish when I was a kid.

4. The one lipstick shade I wear the most often is…


– Lip glosses are my go-to – current fav is the Dior Addict Lip Glow.

5. I’m always likely to be early/late?

– Early

6. The one film I’ve seen more than five times..

– Grease, Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman…

7. One thing I just won’t eat is…

– Rabbit – it’s my Chinese zodiac sign..so can’t do it!

8. If you could offer everyone who’s reading this one piece of advice, what would it be?

– Start now, be humble and GO ALL IN!


9. The one thing I’d change about myself is…

– Don’t stay in a toxic relationship longer than you should. Because you shouldn’t change who you are to please others. Be yourself and CHOOSE people that choose you.

10. Quote you live by is...

– To excel in life, you have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
