What’s Cooking in the Future of Leadership? – An Exclusive Interview with Jivi Saran

Jivi Saran is a thought leader at the intersection of Conscious Capitalism and Quantum Business. With more than 35 years of experience advising senior executives and complex organizations, she explores how leadership consciousness influences strategy, governance, and long-term economic outcomes.

She is a Doctor of Business Administration candidate researching Quantum Leadership and conscious decision-making in the finance industry, holds an MBA in Leadership from Royal Roads University, and is also pursuing a PhD in Spiritual Research. Her work integrates Upper Echelons Theory, Eudaimonia, and Quantum Leadership to examine how leaders enact personal values under performance pressure.

As the Founder of Quantum Business, Saran advances the view that sustainable capitalism requires more than improved strategy—it demands greater consciousness in executive judgment. Through her research, advisory work, and global thought leadership, she focuses on aligning stakeholder values with decision-making across strategy, culture, innovation, and governance.

Common Mistakes People Make When Dealing with Narcissists

Expert Panelists are handpicked and invited to contribute because of their knowledge and valuable insight within the areas of Business, Mindset, Leadership, Lifestyle, and Sustainability. Members of The Brainz Magazine community of experts will share their best tips, advice, ideas, and hacks within different topics.

1. Seek approval

In Dr. Charlotte Bedasse’s book Offense Kills: Healing From the Emotional Triggers that Hold You Captive, she explains what happens when you deal with a narcissist and the common behaviors you can expect. Here are two common mistakes people make and how to respond instead:

1. Expecting a narcissist to acknowledge when they’ve made a mistake and take accountability for their actions. They are masters at convincing themselves that reality is the lie they rehearse repeatedly, and they will twist the truth until you begin to question your reality.

2. Mistaking their displays of affection for empathy. A narcissist is incapable of considering another individual’s emotions.

When dealing with a narcissist, the best thing to do is to go “DEEP”. A concept taught by American Clinical Psychologist, Professor Ramani Durvasula: Don’t Defend, Don’t Engage, Don’t Explain, and Don’t Personalize.

Why Most Leaders Get Stuck and How to Break Through - Brainz Podcast with Jivi Saran

In this episode of the Brainz Magazine podcast, Jivi Saran, Founder of Quantum Business Growth, joins us for a powerful conversation on conscious leadership, clarity, intuition, and scaling beyond stuck growth. Jivi shares how quantum principles such as superposition, coherence, and holistic thinking can be applied directly to business, especially for leaders who feel disconnected from their company, team, or next stage of growth. The conversation explores why successful businesses plateau, how clarity and presence shape decision-making, and why mindset is just as important as strategy when it comes to sustainable expansion. This is a practical and thought-provoking episode for founders, CEOs, and senior leaders looking to grow with more alignment, awareness, and long-term impact in an increasingly complex business environment.
