Hendrien is an Imago Relationship Therapist and the founder of Start Right, where she helps couples move from disconnection and confusion to clarity, compassion, and deeper intimacy. As a young mom of two, she understands firsthand how partnership can be tested by the demands of everyday life, parenting, fatigue, emotional load, and the echoes of one’s own upbringing. She knows how easy it is for couples to feel overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or unsure how to reach each other when life gets heavy.

Her work is built on the belief that relationships are not instinctive, we are not born knowing how to love well. We learn it. And when the learning we received growing up was incomplete or painful, it shows up in our adult partnerships. Hendrien helps couples explore these roots with safety and curiosity, showing them how much can change today when they understand where their patterns come from.

Through her clinical training in Imago Relationship Therapy, combined with years of real-world experience supporting couples, she offers a structured, practical, and deeply human approach. Her goal is not to add to a couple’s burden but to lighten it, to give them tools that reduce reactivity, create emotional safety, and rebuild connection in ways that feel sustainable.

Whether through therapy, workshops, or educational resources, Hendrien teaches couples how to communicate with intention, repair with confidence, and live their relationship with more passion and presence. Her mission is simple and sincere: to guide people toward the kind of relationship they were never taught to create, but deeply desire to have.
