Cindy Witteman
Founder/CEO/Editor-in-Chief
Cindy Witteman’s journey is not just one of success, it’s a story of survival, hope, and unstoppable purpose. She grew up watching her single mother struggle to make ends meet, often without reliable transportation and at times without basic needs. As a little girl, she saw firsthand how something as simple as not having a car could make life infinitely harder. Later, as an adult, Cindy found herself facing unimaginable challenges of her own. Escaping domestic violence and stepping into single motherhood, she carried the weight of raising her daughters while trying to rebuild her life from the ground up.
These deeply personal experiences didn’t break her, they built her. They became the fuel behind her purpose. Once she found her footing, Cindy made a promise to herself: if she could rise from her hardships, she would dedicate her life to lifting others up too. That promise became Driving Single Parents Inc., the nonprofit she founded in 2017, to help single parents receive reliable transportation, not just a car, but a chance at freedom, stability, and a future full of possibilities. For Cindy, every vehicle is more than a set of keys. It’s an opportunity for a parent to get to school, secure a better job, and create a new life for their family.
Cindy’s passion for helping others shines through in everything she does. She is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of FORCE Magazine, a platform that amplifies inspiring voices and meaningful stories from around the world. The magazine has been a best-seller for every edition released. She’s also the heart behind Little Give TV Show, where she shares real stories of kindness and people making a difference, proving that even small acts can spark big change. A different nonprofit is highlighted in every episode of the show, allowing viewers to see firsthand how transformative support and giving can be. Writing has always been a driving force for Cindy, and she’s also a five-time best-selling author and a nominee for Author of the Year for her raw and inspiring book Beyond the Smile: Bruised Not Broken. Through her writing, she opens her heart to readers, showing them that it’s possible to rise after the hardest falls.
Her work hasn’t gone unnoticed. Cindy is honored to have received the Trailblazer Award and two International Impact Book Awards, but what matters most to her isn’t the recognition, it’s the lives that are changed because of it.
Her curiosity and desire to dig deeper into life’s big questions led to her thought-provoking podcast, Is Manifesting Bullshit?. The podcast was inspired by a book she co-authored with her two eldest daughters. It challenges listeners to rethink what’s possible, get curious about their mindset, and embrace the idea of seeing things differently. Cindy also brought in four additional authors from around the world to co-author Is Manifesting Bullshit? Part 2: The Limit is YOU, diving even deeper into the power of mindset and transformation.
At the core of everything Cindy does is her family. She is a proud mom, stepmom, and Nonna to her big, beautiful, blended family. Her six children and five grandchildren keep her grounded, joyful, and inspired to keep going, no matter the obstacles. They are her “why.” The laughter, the lessons, and the love they share remind her every day that success isn’t just about professional milestones, it’s about creating memories, being present, and leaving a legacy of kindness and courage.
If there’s one thing Cindy hopes to leave behind, it’s this: never underestimate the power of a small act of kindness, or as she calls it, a “little give.” Because those little gives can create ripples of change that stretch far beyond what we can see, and they just might change the world.
