- Ana Gioarsa, Independent Research & Advisory | Work, Mind & Future Systems, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Ana is a researcher, consultant, and systems thinker, exploring the intersection of work, neuroscience, and human behaviour. With over a decade of experience in leading complex projects and optimising structures, she now focuses on rethinking the systems we operate within—how we work, create, and thrive. Currently, Ana is conducting the 99-Day Rewire, a real-time experiment exploring whether autonomy can be sustained without escaping traditional work but by redefining how we engage with it. By tracking biological, behavioural, and cognitive shifts, she aims to understand how self-directed systems, mindset shifts, and structural redesigns can lead to long-term, high-performance models that truly work for the individual. She believes that real change doesn’t just come from disrupting systems—or from inner work alone to fit within them. Neither is sustainable in the long term. Instead, transformation happens through the interconnection of both—understanding the mechanics of these systems, recognising their limitations, and integrating alternative ways of working and thinking that bridge autonomy with structure, creativity with function, and science with lived experience. Through a mix of research, consultancy, and writing, Ana challenges conventional models of work and explores new ways of thinking about autonomy, structure, and human potential. Ana Gioarsa Executive Contributor Independent Research & Advisory | Work, Mind & Future Systems Executive Contributors at Brainz Magazine are handpicked and invited to contribute because of their knowledge and valuable insight within their area of expertise. - Alicia Cadiz, CEO, Founder, LMHC, Licensed Psychotherapist, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Alicia Cadiz graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2019, with a degree in Psychology and Criminology. Alicia then went on to attend Manhattan College where she obtained her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2021. Throughout her two year Masters's Degree program, Alicia worked with veterans, helping acclimate them from deployment life to academic-civilian life, in addition to working at a Mental Health agency in Rockland County, NY. Once the pandemic took over the world, Alicia moved to Florida after graduating with her Master's Degree and worked in the Florida prison system for two years as a mental health therapist (pre-licensure). Alicia helped the incarcerated population overcome addiction, navigated the trials and tribulations of those who had a life sentence, and provided de-escalation, crisis, and behavioral management techniques. During this time Alicia worked grueling 12-hour days, yet still managed to pass her licensure exam (NCMHCE) to become fully licensed in the state of Florida. This experience taught Alicia the meaning of hard work, dedication, ambition, and most importantly, that you can achieve anything you work hard enough for, as long as you believe you are strong enough to make a difference in the world. At the start of 2024, Alicia launched her own private practice, Healing With Alicia, specializing in relationship issues, breakups, and addiction, with an emphasis on helping those gain their confidence back as well as helping rebuild their self-esteem. Alicia believes that it's her job to help you navigate your story and pinpoint your strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change. Alicia is here to support and empower you on your journey to healing. - Sanjana Thanik, Hypnotherapist, Reiki, RTT & QHHT Practitioner, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Sanjana Thanik, a certified hypnotherapist, has nurtured a lifelong curiosity about how life unfolds differently for each person. From a young age, she was drawn to understanding life’s deeper meanings, especially during times when she faced challenges that pushed her to explore healing. Her journey began with Karmic quotient healing and Reiki, which she learned under the guidance of Sensei Renoo Nirula. These early experiences ignited her passion for the healing arts, setting her on a transformative path from which there was no turning back. Sanjana’s career as a crew member with Air India exposed her to various cultures and diverse human behaviors. Despite the differences, she recognized that people everywhere share the same fundamental yearning for acceptance and connection. This insight deepened her commitment to healing, and each modality she explored—whether hypnotherapy, RTT, or QHHT—helped her connect more profoundly with her own inner world. Through this journey, she discovered the immense power of the mind in shaping one’s reality. The more Sanjana delved into her inner self, the more she realized the importance of facing fears, dismantling outdated beliefs, and reprogramming her mindset to build a more authentic and empowered self. These personal transformations inspired her to start helping those around her, guiding family and friends to approach life through the lens of healing. As they experienced positive shifts, her passion for healing grew. This led Sanjana to create Mindskapes , a platform dedicated to helping individuals break free from the confines of their old selves and embrace the freedom of living their true, authentic lives. Through Mindskapes, she empowers others to release past conditioning and tap into their inner power, creating lives filled with purpose, self-awareness, and connection. It was not easy at the slightest hint of anyone’s imagination, especially when having to still thrive and perform during turbulent times professionally and personally. However, having the will to keep going and not give up, really helps to keep that engine running. A lesson she learned along the way that also served as a way to overcome challenges was asking questions, yes, asking questions. The more you know, the more you grow! It is important for the world to know that MCD Business Enterprise and Marline, believe in women. Women Matter! When people seek her leadership or fertility services, buy her books, or request a conversation, she allows them an inviting and safe space to feel validated. Because of her lived experiences and relatability factor, her brand stands to reach and help countless women believe in themselves and advocate for what they believe in or strive for personally and professionally. Marline knows what it takes to cultivate a successful leadership career despite the countless obstacles faced while on that quest to grow and improve. She wants to share her story and give people tips on how to effectively present and succeed in the workplace, how to use mentorship as a way to give back, and how to cultivate an environment that fosters authentic capacity by embracing one's team and empowering them to be their best. Marline serves as a fertility coach. She knows how it feels when you're trying to conceive and it seems like nothing is going your way, like most things in life. Marline is a walking testimony to what resilience and hard work are. In addition to her 1st book, mentioned above, Marline has authored 2 additional books. They are children’s books: Kason and Kamden: Yes We’re Twins But I’m Still Me, and KB The Bossy Rainbow Baby. These books were written by Marline to instill independence, confidence, and acceptance in the youth. Empowered children become empowered adults. As such, Marline travels to schools across the nation to host reading and literacy workshops for the students. Not only do they actively engage in the sessions, they leave with a renewed sense of empowerment, feeling they belong, and with the ability to embrace what makes them each unique. Keeping in line with the Christian teachings of offering time, talent, and treasure, Marline volunteers in a multitude of capacities. Marline proudly serves as the Chairperson for the Finance Committee at the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She also served as a former CCD (religious education) instructor for the church in an effort to give back to the faith community and enrich the younger generation. As the Treasurer for her local Home Owners’ Association, she volunteers her time to ensure the residential community functions well to meet the needs of her fellow homeowners. Furthermore, Marline is a Board member and serves as the Chief Financial Officer with the non-profit organization, Filling Empty Wombs, Inc, to further assist, bring awareness, and advocate for the fertility community that are too often voiceless. Marline is celebrating 22 years of marriage to her husband, Kevens, and they have four sons. Needless to say, they keep her busy and on her feet. When not working, Kevens and Marline enjoy finding new ways to cultivate their family dynamic while raising their boys.
