- Roger Persaud, Author, Speaker & Mentor, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Roger is a veteran of the USAF. After his service, he enjoyed a 35-year career in the airline industry—seventeen of those years were in Oklahoma, where he met survivors of the Tulsa Massacre and of the terror experienced by the Osage Nation. An avid sports enthusiast who loves all sports, Roger plays table tennis, cricket, and soccer. He is also a passionate music lover, especially of jazz and reggae. America Should Be Grateful to Haiti is his first book. He is an FAA-certified pilot, Airframe and Powerplant technician, aircraft engineer, quality assurance inspector, technical trainer, auditor, and table tennis coach. He began coaching table tennis at the age of fifteen. Players he has coached often say he didn’t just teach them table tennis—he coached them about life through the game. Colleagues he has taught in aviation describe him as dedicated to their learning, always willing to find answers to their questions, whether he knew them at the time or not. When speaking, his goal is to deliver stimulating content in a friendly yet passionate style. The audience must be entertained while gaining crucial knowledge that will benefit them. After writing the book, he recorded half-hour interviews for two digital shows: Muscles and Stilettos and Keith’s Financial Fix. He later appeared four times on The World Tonight news program on BNC, as well as on Prime with Charles Blow on the same network. His most notable appearance to date was a half-hour interview with Dr. Benjamin Chavis on The Chavis Chronicles, which aired on PBS. - Kathy Cook, Director of Kathy Now Then Coaching, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Kathy is the Director of Now Then Coaching, a practice rooted in compassion, connection and a deep understanding of both education and family life. Since qualifying as a teacher in 2006, she has worked across roles including teacher, SENCo and Assistant Educational Psychologist, alongside her lived experience as a parent. She has also volunteered as a telephone counsellor for the Sheffield charity The Line, supporting children and young people to access help, further strengthening her empathetic and relational approach. Now Then Coaching was born from Kathy’s growing concern about the increasing pressures placed on young people, families and schools, and the impact this can have on relationships. Through her work, she has seen first-hand how, at the most extreme, gaps in support can bring education systems uncomfortably close to youth justice pathways—reinforcing her commitment to early understanding, intervention and connection.Kathy has worked across a wide range of educational settings, including primary, secondary and specialist provisions, as well as Alternative Provision. This breadth of experience has deepened her understanding of the many ways children communicate their needs. She is particularly passionate about helping adults reframe their understanding of behaviour, recognising that not all behaviours are loud or disruptive—some are quiet, internalised and often overlooked. At the heart of Kathy’s approach is the belief that no child is “bad”. She encourages a move away from labels such as “naughty” or “disengaged”, instead promoting curiosity, reflection and connection. Through coaching, training and support, Kathy empowers families and professionals to focus on what can be influenced in the present, creating meaningful and lasting change for the future. - Blaine Holt, ADHD Professional Coach, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Blaine Holt is the founder of SortMySh!t, a coaching practice created to help late-diagnosed ADHD professionals cut through chaos and reclaim their lives. For over a decade, Blaine worked as a Product Manager in high-tech companies including EROAD, PVH, and Lemonade, where he drove digital innovation and navigated the high-pressure demands of corporate life. From the outside, he looked successful but behind the scenes, he was burning out. In his mid-thirties, Blaine hit a wall. After a short holiday, he returned to work unable to open his laptop without crying. The symptoms stacked up: insomnia, relentless rumination, brain fog, gut issues, dopamine-chasing, and a crushing fear of failure. What he didn’t know at the time was that undiagnosed ADHD was fueling his exhaustion and self-blame. When the diagnosis finally came, it wasn’t just a label, it was a key that unlocked understanding, compassion, and a new direction. Blaine’s recovery meant walking away from the 9–5 model and unlearning years of masking and overcompensating. Out of that experience came SortMySh!t, a tongue-in-cheek name for a serious mission: to give professionals the tools, humor, and science they need to stop fighting their brains and start thriving with them. His coaching blends peer-reviewed research, evidence-based strategies, and lived experience, making him both a guide and a fellow traveler on the ADHD journey. Today, Blaine helps clients transform overwhelm into clarity, burnout into resilience, and self-doubt into confidence. His work is dedicated to dismantling stigma, particularly for women and those with overlapping autistic traits, and to building practical, sustainable ways to succeed with ADHD in a world that wasn’t designed for neurodiverse minds. - Genna Barbara Zimmel, Torus Solutions, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Genna Zimmel is an AI implementation strategist, Technical Project Manager, and founder of Torus Solutions — a company at the intersection of conversational AI, CRM automation, intelligent agent systems, and digital business infrastructure. Over the course of her career, Genna has worked across CRM implementation, sales infrastructure, business operations, and growth systems — watching how organizations adopt new technology, where they succeed, and far more often, where implementation becomes expensive, slow, and largely ineffective. That pattern became the foundation of her work: closing what she calls The Implementation Gap — the distance between organizations that deploy AI strategically and those that waste significant time and money on tools they were never equipped to use well. Genna has built and deployed production AI systems hands-on, including Sibyl — a full-stack conversational AI companion incorporating contextual memory architecture, retrieval-augmented generation, personality framework design, and Web3 NFT-gated membership infrastructure built on Ethereum. She has implemented Salesforce CRM systems including lead generation pipelines, sales enablement programs, and enterprise CRM migration, and has built content automation systems using Airtable and agent workflows across multiple platforms. Her guiding design principle — Support Over Dependency — shapes every system she builds. AI should make people more capable without it, not more reliant on it. That philosophy drives both Sibyl's conversational architecture and her approach to enterprise AI implementation. Genna is currently completing formal training in Cloud Computing and Python for AI through edX, and is actively available for Technical PM, AI Implementation, CRM Automation, and AI Agent Development roles and consulting engagements. She is based in Tel Aviv, Israel, and documents her build journey publicly through Torus Solutions and Sibyl.
