As a trauma therapist and the founder of Heal Thrive Dream Holistic Services, I have spent nearly three decades working with survivors of complex trauma. One truth has become very clear to me, healing is possible, but access to healing resources is not always equal. Many survivors deeply want support, education, and community, yet financial barriers often prevent them from participating in the very programs that could help them move forward. This is one reason sponsorships are so important. Sponsorship is not simply financial support, it is an act of compassion that creates real opportunities for healing.

At Heal Thrive Dream Holistic Services, my work focuses on helping survivors move through three phases of recovery, heal, thrive, and dream. Trauma impacts the mind, body, emotions, relationships, and even a person's sense of purpose. That is why I use a holistic approach that integrates clinical knowledge with practices that support the whole person. Through our programs, we host holistic healing summits, support groups, retreats, and educational experiences designed to help survivors rebuild safety, trust, and hope. These programs offer tools such as nervous system regulation, trauma-informed communication, somatic healing, journaling, mindfulness, and relational repair.

However, many survivors who want to attend cannot afford to participate. This is where sponsorship becomes life-changing. Sponsors help make healing accessible.

One meaningful way sponsors can help is by supporting holistic healing summits. These gatherings bring together therapists, coaches, advocates, and survivors to share practical strategies for trauma recovery. Participants learn tools that can help them regulate their nervous systems, process painful experiences, and begin rebuilding their lives. Sponsorship support allows us not to charge registration fees, cover event costs, and ensure that survivors who need these resources most can attend.

Another powerful way to empower is by sponsoring scholarships for healing communities and support groups. Trauma isolates people. Many survivors believe they are the only ones struggling with the effects of abuse, neglect, violence, or other painful experiences. In trauma-informed groups, led by me, a trauma-competent therapist, something remarkable happens, survivors discover they are not alone. Shame begins to soften. Connection begins to grow. People start learning healthier ways to regulate emotions, build boundaries, and create supportive relationships.

Even a small sponsorship can make a difference. A scholarship for our healing membership community can be sponsored for only $28 per month (the regular fee is currently $97). That small monthly investment can give a survivor access to resources, community, and guidance that support their healing journey.

If you would like to sponsor a scholarship for a survivor, you can do so here. Sponsors can also support our holistic healing summits through this page. Another meaningful opportunity is supporting survivors who want to attend our holistic healing retreats.

Through our retreat experiences, including the She Rises Collective retreats, we create restorative spaces for women and couples who desire deeper healing. These retreats focus on holistic wellness, emotional healing, and reconnection with purpose. Participants often engage in guided journaling, trauma-informed workshops, somatic practices, mindfulness, creative expression, and restorative connection with others who understand the healing journey. Many survivors describe retreats as a turning point in their recovery because they finally have the time and support to focus on their own healing. Unfortunately, many survivors who would benefit from these experiences simply cannot afford to attend.

Sponsors can help in several ways. Some sponsors choose to fund a full retreat scholarship for a survivor who cannot currently participate. Others provide partial sponsorships that reduce costs and make attendance more accessible. Businesses and organizations sometimes contribute items for retreat swag bags, such as journals, calming teas, wellness products, affirmation cards, or other self-care tools that support healing. These gifts may seem simple, but they send a powerful message to survivors, your healing matters.

Because I am a licensed therapist, there is also a practical benefit for some participants. Individuals who have been diagnosed with a mental health condition, including post-traumatic stress disorder, may be able to use their Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for qualifying services. This allows survivors to use pre-tax funds to access trauma-informed support.

For individuals, businesses, or organizations interested in sponsoring survivors to attend retreats, I welcome the opportunity to discuss partnership options. Sponsorship can take many forms, and together we can find meaningful ways to support survivors. If you would like to explore sponsorship opportunities, please reach out to me directly here.

When we support trauma survivors, we do more than help individuals heal. We strengthen families, communities, and future generations. Survivors who receive support often go on to help others, creating a ripple effect of healing that extends far beyond a single program or event.

Sponsorship is one way we can all be part of that healing. When we invest in survivors, we invest in hope.
