Have you ever found yourself overthinking? Procrastinating? Doubting your capabilities and delaying your creativity?

A person stands on a rocky cliff edge overlooking a vast mountain range under a clear blue sky.

I have; I do. It’s an easy pattern to detect if I witness myself and accept that it happens every time I attach my actions to the expectation of the desired outcome. Thus, I learned to take my time to observe myself without judgment and get back on track.

I choose to love my imperfections and see that my shortcomings and fears always act as catalysts for change and transformation.

I choose to befriend my fears, to name them and reclaim my power. I have the power to choose, to choose what to do, and what to think and feel.

I have the privilege to choose my perspective, to have my thoughts work collaboratively in creating the life experience I desire.

This process of hearing and witnessing myself has proven time and time again to be the No.1 enabler of me feeling whole and adequate, no matter the circumstances. I always have the prerogative to slow down, observe, and choose how to react. We all do.

There is no need to feel unsafe, unwanted, or undermined; we just need to be wired to our deepest self, to know our defence mechanisms, and know we are always in command.

We all have the power and the innate design to be self-driving “vehicles”.

Every day I have the curiosity to look for evidence of how much easier our life is when we choose to be responsible for our choices and actions. I even have a personal motto to remind me: I don’t wait for freedom, I create it. Responsibility sustains it. I claim both!

I marvel and wonder at the vision of what the world could look like if each one of us would choose to love and respect oneself and others, recognize the existing resources and feel safe and fearless at the steering wheel of our own life.
