What is your professional background?

I have over three decades experience in the People Profession, my career includes working as an Executive leader in various Healthcare organisations. I managed a Consultancy business specialising in leadership development and coaching programmes. I navigate complex organisational challenges while supporting individual transformation.

I have a business degree, am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and am an Associate of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). I have studied coaching, counselling, and mediation as part of my professional development.

Why did you become a coach?

Coaching has been integral to my leadership journey. I obtained my coaching qualification over 15 years ago, reshaping my leadership approach. Over the past decade, coaching executives and clinical leaders have revealed the profound impact of guiding clients to "light bulb moments," leading to life-changing realisations.

What is Therapeutic Coaching, and where does it originate from?

Therapeutic coaching blends coaching and counselling. While coaching focuses on performance and outcomes, counselling explores deeper-rooted barriers such as past traumas or limiting beliefs. This integrated approach helps individuals uncover obstacles before transitioning to actionable strategies for growth.

What is your coaching style?

My coaching style is empathetic yet challenging. Creating psychological safety is key to enabling clients to share openly. While I provide a supportive environment, I challenge clients when necessary, helping them overcome obstacles and find practical solutions.

What issues does Therapeutic Coaching address?

Therapeutic coaching is versatile and can support individuals with:

  • Imposter syndrome & confidence: Overcoming self-doubt and developing self-belief.

  • Leadership development: Enhancing leadership styles and workplace relationships.

  • Stress and workplace conflict: Managing professional pressures and interpersonal challenges.

  • Personal identity & relationships: Navigating sexuality, personal relationships, or transitions.

  • Career growth: Overcoming career hurdles and planning professional development.

What can clients expect from your website?

My website, www.therapeuticcoach.org, is designed to clarify therapeutic coaching's process, benefits, and commitment levels. It empowers visitors to assess if this approach suits their needs.

Why choose Therapeutic Coaching?

In today’s fast-paced world, professional and personal challenges often intertwine. Therapeutic coaching offers a structured space to reflect, gain clarity, and take action. Unlike traditional coaching, it addresses surface-level goals and underlying issues, ensuring long-term transformation.

Why choose me as a coach?

I bring deep expertise in coaching and counselling. My ability to tailor support ensures clients receive personalised, meaningful guidance. Whether you are a leader looking to grow your career or you are seeking personal growth in your life outside of work, I’m passionate about helping individuals unlock their potential.

What can clients expect during coaching sessions?

A typical coaching journey involves six sessions, with an initial chemistry session to establish goals and expectations. Sessions alternate between counselling to explore barriers and coaching to craft actionable solutions. Clients choose a pace that suits their needs, from weekly to monthly sessions.

Why is now a good time for Therapeutic Coaching?

The current economic and social landscape has increased stress levels, particularly in hybrid work environments where professional and personal lives overlap. Therapeutic coaching provides a judgement-free zone for processing challenges and implementing meaningful change.

Final thoughts: Therapeutic coaching is about transformation, not just achieving goals. It enables individuals to understand themselves deeply, break through barriers, and embrace lasting change. Whether you’re an executive or a frontline worker, therapeutic coaching can catalyse the growth you seek.
