Gorgeous, have you heard how presence and presentation are fundamental for visibility? I guess you have heard a lot about it.

The photo shows a close-up of a woman with striking blue eyes, wearing a patterned silk scarf wrapped around her head and face, with soft lighting highlighting her clear skin and natural freckles.

I don't deny that these aspects are important, but they're just the tip of the iceberg. In fact, there are other, often overlooked, essentials that shape how visible, recognised, and influential you become as a senior woman leader.

The art of visibility isn’t just about how you show up in the room; it’s about how you are perceived, how you position yourself, and the personal power you cultivate. These three essentials Perception, Positioning, and Personal Power are key to elevating your influence and ensuring your visibility is authentic and impactful.

Let’s dive into it, shall we?

3 overlooked essentials of executive visibility

1. Perception

It’s fundamental that you’re crystal clear about your perception, more precisely, of the way you want to be perceived. Why? Because perception is absolutely subjective. Ten people can see a picture in the media or on social media, and you will have 10 different opinions. This is the essence of perception.

For this reason, it is essential that you’re very clear about the way you want to be perceived. For example, if you want to be perceived as a thought leader or an innovative thinker, you have to think, behave, and act like an innovative thinker. This is the process of self-actualisation. The key to success is to commit to this process so you’ll be untouchable, no matter what people think, because you’ll be the embodiment of your self-perception.

How to start? Reflect on this question: How do you want to be perceived?

2. Positioning

Positioning is the ability to articulate who you are clearly and confidently, demonstrating with your career and achievements that you are seen as the authority in your industry. It’s when you can communicate what you can bring to the table that no one can (your genius and brilliance), fascinate with your distinct value, and be seen as the best.

Where to start? Ask yourself this question: What do you want to be known for?

3. Personal power

Your personal power is the result of your mindset, personal development, and mastery of your visibility skills. It’s knowing you so well that no matter the room you enter, you always harness your personal power and can belong in any room. It’s not power over something or someone; it’s harnessing your power so you can remain in your leadership and agency at any moment.

How to start? Ask yourself this question: Where and when do you feel powerless? And how can you change it?

If you want to be visible and make a lasting impact, let’s talk. You’re born for greatness, not for mediocrity.

Let’s do it together.
