It is said that the only thing certain in life is change. Well, the external world is certainly facing a lot of change these past three years and I am beginning to see a lot of emotional disruption with people. So many external events and access to different voices with differing opinions, it can become harder and harder to listen to your voice of knowing, power, and potential within.

Many are feeling that choice is being taken away from them and the Truth is, choice is something that cannot be taken from you. You may be experiencing the pressure and angst that goes along with that choice; however, the choice is yours. When you come from the feeling that you do not have choice, that is when you feel a victim to your circumstance. Judgement, anger and ultimately fear are driving you, rather than an inner alignment to the certainty of your truth and knowing. The emotional charge stems from an internal unconscious belief. Like a sharp thorn that just keeps creating pain. You can choose to push it down and cover it up, only for that thorn to fester creating pain once again by being triggered or, you can reach in and draw the thorn out once and for all. I had a client call me recently who was very distraught. On top of the pandemic, her and her husband are facing enormous challenges plus a legal action. In their sixties, the looming threat of losing everything they have worked so hard for over the years. This in turn places an intense pressure on their marriage. So many fears, like dark monsters growing in strength daily starting to overshadow and envelope her emotionally. We have all experienced that intensity at certain stages within our life. What starts to take place is the fears, fed by the unconscious beliefs, the more she gives them power by trying to push them down the heavier and darker they become, completely overshadowing her emotionally and mentally. In a phone consultation with her I went through my process “These Are My Fears Not My Truth” You can read about this simple, yet powerful process in an article on my website or find it in Brainz Magazine titled Fear Is Your Friend. You see, even ringing me was a choice. Doing the process, was a choice. You either choose one action or another and face the consequences of your choice. In choosing to face and powerfully speak her fears, she became amazed at what hidden beliefs started to emerge. No longer suppressing but allowing. Allowing the fears and feelings fuelling them to be seen and heard. Validated without making them her truth. The second part of the process is to then voice her Truth. The voice of her knowing, power and potential. Some call this intuition, Divine, God, Spirit or the superconscious. Doing this in the way outlined in my article, adds fuel and energy to empower you. Calming the energy driving your fears to refocus on your inner knowing that provides insight and solutions. Realigning focus and certainty. The other process I took her through was to acknowledge where the energy of that emotion was sitting within her body. It was her throat. So, with eyes closed I instructed her to breathe into the blocked energy and as she breathed out with her jaw wide open, she was releasing this energy therefor freeing it to start moving again. She tracked this energy as it moved upwards through her body until it had lifted and released, out the top of her head. Freedom and flow rather than suppression and stagnation. When you make a choice and that choice is unencumbered by fear, anger, and judgement, free from feeling a victim to your circumstance and choice. You are then absolutely standing in your Truth and owning your choice. Free, aligned and empowered. The Master of yourself.

In the two processes that I took this client on we were developing witnessing and acknowledgement skills. Why are these skills so important? Because the unconscious that creates that constant incessant internal mind chatter keeps you anchored to a space that truly does not serve you. It keeps you small and confined, ruled by your emotions and emotional triggers. Either holding you into the past or projecting you into what seems like a troubled future. Mentally, emotionally, and energetically robbing you of energy and clarity. Keeping you from awakening and coming back into the Truth of who you really are behind all those masks and false stories that guide you all the time.

Witnessing, connecting, and moving that trapped emotional energy, combined with giving voice to your fears with the intent to defuse them, enables you to then amplify that voice within, that voice of knowing that rests deep within the centre of your very being. That place of detachment where fear, doubts and insecurities do not exist. Beyond the mind that throws up illusion as an intrusion, like being trapped within the stickiness of the spiders’ web. The space of eternal expansiveness, wisdom, insight, and your true source of power. Beyond the mindscape of the ego, driving your life from the internal place of leadership.

Able to navigate life’s challenges like the river flowing over and around obstacles.

Choice is always yours to make. To me, the only real choice in life is the choice to be happy, regardless of external circumstances and people. To remain unconditionally happy, one must remain open, not closed. Expanded, not contracted.

With the right tools and the understanding, you can live a life you love. It really is about the power of what YOU choose. From the inside out. Beyond the confines of your unconscious mind. Constantly supported and guided by your inner knowing and authentic self.

Understanding, application, cultivation and action equals happiness, love and acceptance. Freedom. That seed of potential exists within us all. Nurture and nourish it in order to have it grow.
