Life is constantly reflecting our cycles. We have the cycles of the seasons, the cycles of the moon, and the cycles of the oceans with high tide and low tide; just to name a few.

Many understand the power of the mind and its impact on the emotional and physical. What about the energetic? Physics has confirmed that everything is energy, and we are energy. In fact, the energy is simply vibrating at different rates and that energy is always in motion.

You have an energy system within you that is made up of spinning wheels of energy vortexes. These energy centers or chakras as they are called, not only relate to nerves and major organs they also relate to our cycle of personal growth and transformation.

When you have a challenging life experience it is easy for old beliefs and inner false stories to interpret the meaning of the experience. Depending on the deeply held beliefs they could be holding you captive and prevent the energy from completing its cycle through you and reaching the integration of higher energy and empowering shift from then descending back down into you.

This is the spiritual journey. To understand the cycles and the opportunities of bringing insight into these cycles of experience in order to become more masterful in the creation of our lives.

Challenges will always be a constant in your life as you are ready to grow. The empowerment is in understanding how to move through the 7 cycles that free you from being a victim of the experience. If you stop the flow of energy, you will become stagnant. The stagnation of this energy will hold you captive to feeling like a victim or depressed and drain you of energy and play havoc with your physical health and well-being.

You can delve deeply into the meaning of each center; however, over the years I have come to understand a simple road map to consciously move through each stage more rapidly. I not only apply this understanding to my own experiences, but my many clients over the past three decades also have as well and it works.

The base chakra, located at the base of the spine is related to the tribe. This means it is connected in the external world to the actual event that challenges you. For example, if someone at work bullies you, you relate to that experience via the group, the workplace. At this base stage of the cycle, you need to say to yourself, “I do not know why this is happening to me; however, I choose not to be a victim.”

When you align with this, the energy will rise to the second stage.

The sacral chakra is located in the naval. This is where you experience the dual. Your connection and relationship to something or someone outside of yourself. Following the example used above, you will be examining and feeling the unfairness of your experience with the bully. This stage is asking you to ask yourself, “what is this experience asking me to learn about myself?”

Asking the power questions is what initiates the insight that comes from your inner voice of knowing. It helps to disempower the false stories and beliefs holding you captive. Your emotions are fueled by those stories and beliefs, the questions begin to free you from being held captive by them.

As you gain insight the energy will flow up into the third cycle.

The solar plexus resides in the pit of the stomach, up the top in the arc of the rib cage. This energy center has traveled up from the group experience to the dual experience and now rests in the singular. This space is all about you, how you experience and feel what is taking place. The question here is “how do I feel about myself in this experience. What do I need to do?”

The fourth cycle is in the heart center. In the center of your chest. This is the bridge between the inner and outer world. Here you have come to recognize that the experience has been your teacher. A catalyst to help you heal and transform how you see and feel about the world around you. A sense of purpose that comes from the challenge; something to learn about yourself and your inner workings to shift and uplevel your life. You start to feel like you are in the driver’s seat of your life and experiences. There is no question here, it is simply an intention to align with, “love, compassion, understanding, and forgiveness.” First for yourself and then towards another.

Love is born from the fact that everyone has played their part in your growth. Compassion is for the fact that everyone is human and on their human journey. You never truly know what is going on with another. Understanding is born from the purpose of the experience and the stages you have risen through. Forgiveness is what sets you free from being under anyone else’s control. Here you own your power and potential.

This is the place where you set yourself free.

Now you are in the fifth stage of the throat. Here is where you release by speaking your fears so that you can speak from power and your truth! From this place, you can change direction in your life by aligning your Will with that of the Divine Will. This is a place of surrendering and faith. Here you align with your inner power and potential. To speak powerfully is to speak from the heart with the understanding of the journey you have taken and the insights that have risen and clarification of your needs.

Now you are at stage six. The third eye is located between the eyebrows. This is where you discover the archetypal/symbolic meaning held within this whole experience. Insight floods you and you feel completely released from the initial challenge. That is why it is called the ah-ha moment. It is like breathing out of the release.

You are now at the seventh stage, the crown chakra. This is like a thousand-petaled lotus flower at the top of the head. This is your place of integration and transformation. The cycle is complete, and you are forever changed in your transformation. You have raised your vibration within the mental, emotional, physical and spiritually energetic. This energy of the Divine transformation flows through you and each of the energy centers.

You have masterfully navigated the cycle of the experience. This is known as empowerment. Now you will move through your life feeling more in flow. Synchronicities increase and you feel a meaning and deeper purpose for life’s challenges.

Eventually, the cycle will begin again from a new external challenge. The more times you apply the understanding of the seven stages, you will find yourself becoming more adept and what used to take you a month will take you a week and then a day or even hours.

The seven stages are designed to raise you from ‘I can’t to I can.’ From “victim of circumstance to victorious.”

Your life experiences are designed perfectly for you so that you can come to understand just how incredibly capable and powerful you are in your life.

Life can and will feel challenging at times, yet when you choose to bring understanding and insight to it, you cultivate wisdom.
