For Lesley Beador, success has always been about more than just business. It’s about balance between creativity and discipline, family and ambition, passion and purpose. Born and raised near Lake Tahoe, Lesley grew up surrounded by mountains, pine trees, and endless adventure. Those early days of hiking and skiing weren’t just hobbies they shaped her view of the world.

“I learned early that nature has its own pace,” she says. “If you stay patient, stay grounded, everything falls into place.”

That calm confidence would become a guiding force in her life. Even as a teenager, she was determined to chart her own course. By taking community college classes as a high school sophomore, she managed to graduate six months early from South Tahoe High School. “I’ve always liked moving forward,” Lesley laughs. “If there’s a way to do something faster or smarter, I’m all in.”

The path to wellness and entrepreneurship

Today, that same drive fuels her work as an entrepreneur. Lesley is developing her own skincare line an idea born from her lifelong interest in wellness and beauty. She sees skincare as both a business and a way to help people feel confident in their own skin.

“I wanted to create something real,” she explains. “Something that fits into everyday life and helps people take care of themselves without complicating it.”

Her approach is simple: authenticity and consistency. She’s involved in every detail, from ingredients to packaging. “I’m hands-on with everything,” she says. “When you’re building something with your name on it, you have to care about the details.”

The project also represents something larger for her independence and creativity. It’s not just about selling a product; it’s about creating something meaningful that reflects her values.

Balancing family, business, and adventure

While many entrepreneurs talk about work-life balance, Lesley actually lives it. A devoted mother of three, she keeps her family at the center of everything she does. Her daughters, Inga and Anna, are pursuing acting and singing, and she encourages their creativity just as she nurtures her own.

“Seeing my kids find their voice that’s my biggest joy,” she says. “It reminds me to keep dreaming, too.”

Her husband, David, a civil engineer who designs bridges and freeways, shares her love of adventure and travel. Together, they’ve created a life filled with exploration. The family spends summers in Park City, Utah, restoring historic homes. Holidays are often spent in Montana, where they enjoy rafting, snowmobiling, and hiking.

“I love that our kids get to see different parts of the country,” Lesley says. “Each place teaches them something new about life and about themselves.”

Their favorite getaway? Yellowstone National Park. “It’s one of the few places where I completely unplug,” she adds. “You can’t stand there and not feel grateful for everything.”

Giving back with heart

Beyond business and family, Lesley devotes time to giving back. She volunteers with Meals on Wheels, delivering food and companionship to seniors in her community. “It’s not just about the meals,” she says. “It’s about showing up for people who might not have anyone else.”

That sense of service runs deep. Whether it’s restoring homes in Utah or helping neighbors through small acts of kindness, Lesley believes in leading by example. “Success isn’t what you have it’s what you give,” she explains. “If you’re not helping someone else, you’re missing the point.”

Her volunteer work has also influenced her business philosophy. “It keeps me grounded,” she says. “It reminds me that real value comes from connection.”

Lessons in resilience and growth

Lesley’s journey is one built on resilience and perspective. She’s faced challenges like anyone else, but her response has always been to adapt and grow. “Life doesn’t go in a straight line,” she says. “But that’s what makes it interesting.”

Her love for travel she’s visited 48 U.S. states reflects that same openness to change. Each trip, she says, offers a new lesson. “Travel makes you humble,” she explains. “You realize how big the world is and how much there’s still to learn.”

In between adventures, she keeps a grounded routine yoga, spin classes, paddle boarding, and crafting with her kids. “It’s how I reset,” she says. “Movement clears the mind, creativity fills it back up.”

A life built on purpose

At its core, Lesley’s story is about building a life that reflects her values: family, creativity, compassion, and curiosity. Her ventures in business and philanthropy aren’t separate paths they’re part of the same journey.

“Everything I do connects back to family and gratitude,” she says. “Those are the things that keep me centered.”

Whether she’s formulating a new skincare product, volunteering in her community, or planning the next family adventure, Lesley Beador approaches each day with intention. It’s that steady mix of vision and heart that has shaped her success and inspired those around her to find their own version of it.

As she puts it: “I don’t think success is a destination. It’s how you live every day with purpose, joy, and an open heart.”
