Who is Linda?

Hi, I'm Linda Terjesen, and I created my company name from my initials 'LT'. I love to exercise, and I want everyone to be active, so that is another reason I came up with the company name LTLTE, which stands for Learn to Love to Exercise.

I'm 53 years old, in full menopause, and I'm in the best shape of my life! I help other women achieve great health as I have. I'm a Certified Nutritionist and a Certified Yoga Teacher. I graduated later in life from California State University in Fullerton, where I was interviewed and selected to do the Commencement speech for the Communications department on graduation day.

I live in a place I used to dream of, Southern California.

I have a 20-year-old cat, Mr Pumpkin, who I bought for $100 at a flea market in North Carolina, and he came with fleas!

I've lived in 3 countries and 5 states. I love to travel. I grew up in Norway and all my family, except for my mom, lives in Norway. My mom lives in Florida, and we are best friends.

My boyfriend and I met 8 years ago on LinkedIn, and although I gave him a hard time to start with, well, I sometimes still do, lol, we have a great relationship, and we have lots of fun together.

14 years ago, my life changed forever, as I lost my only brother, Frank, to a sudden heart attack. Frank is my "Why" as to why I want to help others improve their health, reduce or eliminate medications, and live their best and healthiest life.

What is it that you do for your clients?

As a Certified Nutritionist, I help educate my clients on proper nutrition to create a sustainable lifestyle change. My clients receive customized workout programs designed for their needs, goals, limitations, and location. As mindset is the biggest growth factor, we work on a variety of mindset activities throughout the program. You can find out more information and see some great client testimonials on my website. Potential clients are also invited to join my free Facebook group LTLTE Health & Fitness Group for daily value, tips, and inspiration around health and fitness, and to obtain free and helpful guides to start implementing healthy habits on their own.

Who should hire/work with you?

Middle-aged women, around age 40-60, who truly desire a lifelong healthy change. Women who struggle with menopause who have extra belly fat, body fat, and/or body weight they want to reduce. Women who have a hard time with consistency and who lack support. Women who are not sure what, when, and how much to eat and are confused about nutrition. My clients desire and are willing to make a change in their mindset, nutrition, and movement. My ideal client wants to work on their health, they long to be fit and happy, and they are ready to prioritize themselves, take action and implement what is suggested to them. My clients are committed to investing in their health with effort, time, and money. My ideal client is open to receiving guidance and getting out of their own way.

How can someone "learn to love to exercise"?

There are so many activities out there that one can find an activity to love—kind of like eating vegetables. There are so many vegetables that we can all find one that we love. Think of all the activities: walking, pilates, swimming, running, surfing, Zumba, yoga, kayaking, weight training, gymnastics, karate, etc. It's easy to find something to enjoy. The most important factors are that one is willing to try something new, truly desire change, and put in the effort to make it happen. The process is a lot easier if one has a professional to be accountable to and has made a financial commitment.

What is your big goal? Where do you see yourself in 10 years from now?

My big goal is to travel and speak on stages worldwide, sharing stories of all my client successes and what it truly takes to succeed with your health. My goal is to personally take on just a few clients that I can work with privately 1-1 at an advanced level that will be a serious commitment and a life-changing experience for my clients. LTLTE team coaches, who are trained by me, guide other clients in THE NEW ME Academy in various courses. Personally, I continue growing and evolving with my own Coach(es) that I hire to improve myself and my business. My life is abundant, with time and money freedom, an abundance of clients, and an abundant mindset. In 10 years, I will have a few homes and rental properties in various locations across the world. I'm happy, independent, and free. Oh, and of course, I am a Millionaire. My mission is to make the world a healthier and a lighter place. If it sounds like I’m telling you my goals as if I’ve already achieved them, I have, because my goals have already originated on the inside, I have decided, and I believe they will happen. It all starts in the head!

What are your top 3 tips for people who are trying to lose weight?

  1. Move your body consistently. Start with something easy like walking.

  2. Eat your veggies every day, served raw, steamed, boiled, grilled, or baked.

  3. Drink water, min 64 oz or about 2 liters daily
