Navneet started Country Therapy in the year 2020 and worked through the challenges of running and establishing a practice during COVID-19 outbreak. Navneet graduated in the year 2011, finishing his Bachelor in Occupational Therapy from CMC Vellore, one of Asia's best medical schools. Country Therapy, since its inception, has never marketed its service and we have received outflow of referrals for service purely through word-of-mouth referral.

Navneet Singh, Founder and Principal of Country Therapy Practice

Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life, so we can get to know you better. Navneet Singh, referred commonly as Nav amongst colleagues and peers, moved to Australia in 2014 after completing his Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy in India. I received my Masters in Public Health Degree in 2015 from La Trobe University, Melbourne. While studying and working in Australia, my passion for innovation and service delivery in the field of Disability grew exponentially. I became inclined to introduce my unwavering passion for serving and empowering individuals within the disability industry. While working in regional remote townships and communities in western Victoria, I realised the pressing need for improved services and support for people with disabilities and this realization fueled my determination to make a difference in their lives. I take pride in calling myself a workaholic, and I work 7 days a week. I love spending my time with my 2-year-old daughter and family. Could you provide an overview of your business and its core offerings? Country Therapy is a Therapy Service Provider in Australia. We provide therapy support to people with all types of disabilities and challenges. We offer specialised assessments, access assessments to different government funding bodies, prescription of exercise programs/assistive technology, mental health support, etc.

Country Therapy also partners with local regional and community providers to help them and their staff get upskilled in learning improved evidence-based ways to manage their neurodiverse members.

At Country Therapy we all practise a neuro-affirmative approach in managing our patients. We also offer sales of resources on our Company Website for others to use.

What inspired you to start this particular business, and what are your long-term goals for it?

Witnessing lack of adequate services within the disability industry, I embarked on a journey to improve barriers faced by neuro-diverse populations. I vowed to advocate and be the catalyst for the rights and well-being of people with disabilities.

My long-term goal is to grow our services within Australia, servicing remote regional communities to metropolitan cities.

We also plan to grow our online learning, teaching and resource-sharing handle over the next few years.

How do you differentiate your products/services from competitors in the market?

Our services have grown with zero advertisement involved, this in itself speaks volumes on our service. We are mostly growing on a word of mouth basis.

Factors that separate us from our competitors are our values. We are innovative, focused and adaptive to change.

Can you share any notable success stories or achievements that your business has experienced?

Our business has successfully run a profit-based online and direct service-based model, recently nominated and chosen to received disability service award.

What strategies or approaches do you employ to ensure customer satisfaction and build strong relationships?

We have a dedicated service and customers team that ensure all our participants' service requests and needs are efficiently and timelessly met. We have a 5-star review on google.

In what ways do you stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements to remain competitive?
