“If you believe the doubts in your mind, you won't achieve the dreams in your heart.” ‒ Tracy Palmer

Every entrepreneur starts off having a vision or dream before it develops into a thriving business. But sometimes the road to seeing that dream fulfilled may seem difficult, if not impossible, to travel and you begin to doubt that success will happen for you. It is during those moments when you must learn how to ABANDON YOUR DOUBTS so that you can FULLY EMBRACE and accept what that vision or dream can become. Proverbs 16:3 (Good News Translation) says “Ask the Lord to bless your plans, and you will be successful in carrying them out.” If God puts that vision or dream in your heart, then you must believe that He will give you the necessary tools to bring it to manifestation. That means, no matter what challenges happen along the way, you cannot allow doubt to creep in and cause you to lose hope or lose focus. Even though it may seem that it is taking forever for the dream or vision to fully manifest, DON’T GIVE UP, for it will certainly happen!

Over the years, I have had to deal with physical, mental, and financial challenges that would cause me to feel like I would never get to the level of success that I believe God wanted me to have. At times I even second-guessed what I was supposed to be doing concerning my business. At the end of 2020, a major shift happened in my business and since then I have experienced growth and success like never before! What was the big shift? I started to fully trust in what God placed in my heart to do and stopped letting what I would see around me to dictate if I was going to keep going or not. I also became committed to the process instead of being intimidated by it. I would do what was in my power to do and the big stuff that I couldn’t handle, I prayed about it, believed it would work out somehow, and then left it alone. I promise you that every time I have done that, I would experience some type of favor or direction that would get me to the next level of success!

As a Transformational Business Coach, I find myself telling my clients to do their necessary due diligence when it comes to establishing your business venture correctly, then develop a business plan to ensure success, but after that, pray and believe that God will give the increase on all of your efforts! “And may the Lord our God show us his approval (favor) and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful!” Psalm 90:17. But when we keep allowing doubt to creep in our hearts and minds, we delay our future success. So again I say… ABANDON YOUR DOUBTS! EMBRACE YOUR DREAMS!

“Ok, Tracy, that sounds really good and encouraging, but how do I do that? What steps do I need to take in order to abandon my doubts?” I am glad you asked! First, let’s take a look at what it means to abandon something. One definition of abandon that really stuck out to me is “cease to support.” So how does one abandon their doubts? You must make a firm decision that you will no longer accept or support your feelings of uncertainty and fears! Doubt has a way of paralyzing you and keeping you from moving forward in life and if not dealt with properly, doubt will eventually leave you faithless, hopeless, and destitute or without. From birth we are a blank canvas when it comes to our thoughts, but along the way we experience things that suggest how we should think or feel. Always remember that God places hope in our hearts, but the challenges of life can create doubt in our minds and it is up to us what we are going to believe. Please do not let negative thoughts (doubt) rob you of the dreams you know God placed in your heart. “Finally, brothers and sisters, keep your thoughts on whatever is right or deserves praise: things that are true, honorable, fair, pure, acceptable, or commendable.” Philippians 4:8

“Success doesn’t just happen. You have to plan for it!” ‒ Anatole France
