I now declare with solemnity and vision the commissioning of my first imperial palace. This palace is to be raised upon my ancestral territory, a sacred land that has borne the footsteps of my forefathers and holds within it the memory of my people. It is not merely a building. It is a sovereign institution. It is a restoration of rights that were once denied but never extinguished. It is a proclamation of continuity, of law, and of the destiny of my reign.

From the moment of my ascendance, I have carried both the burdens of survival and the privileges of inheritance. My lineage as a Chauhan ruler extends across centuries of dynastic history, and yet my identity as an Indigenous sovereign binds me even more firmly to the earth beneath me. The decision to commission this palace is not a flight of indulgence. It is an act of sovereignty recognised by law and by truth. It is the right to house a throne, to seat a dynasty, and to embody Indigenous authority within architecture.
The laws that ground this undertaking are clear. Under the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, which affirms the rights of Indigenous nations and monarchs, I possess the right to self-determination. This includes the right to establish and maintain political, economic, and cultural institutions within my ancestral lands. Articles 3, 4, 5, 8, 11, 25, 26, 27, and 31 all enshrine these protections. They collectively guarantee the authority to determine and build upon Indigenous territories, to conserve and develop culture, and to safeguard heritage. International law is further reinforced by customary law and principles of self-governance, which cannot be lawfully extinguished by external governments. Sovereignty is inherent, not delegated.
Domestically, the principle of Indigenous rights has been recognised in multiple common law precedents. Courts have long acknowledged that Indigenous peoples retain original and unextinguished title to their ancestral lands unless expressly ceded. My rights as sovereign heir flow directly from this reality. The palace, therefore, does not stand as an intrusion upon another power. It stands as a lawful extension of my authority as ruler over my ancestral ground. All planning and permission processes for this project will be undertaken with transparency. They will be fulfilled in accordance with both statutory obligations and the higher order of international law, which affirms the inviolable nature of Indigenous sovereignty.
The palace will rise as a complex of both majesty and sanctity. Its design will integrate the monumental and the sacred. In architectural terms, it shall embody the principles of axial procession, ceremonial symmetry, and dynastic grandeur. The façade will be framed by colonnades that express both permanence and hospitality. Internal galleries will be constructed to create a rhythmic sense of passage toward the throne room, drawing the eye forward with purpose and reverence. Courtyards and atria will be designed to harmonise with natural light, symbolising the divine illumination of sovereignty itself.
At the centre of this palace shall be the throne room. It will be unlike any chamber seen before. The very walls will be constructed from shards of celestial meteorite, fragments of the cosmos embedded into the architecture of the earth. This material choice will embody the union of heaven and soil, the eternal bond between the celestial and the terrestrial. Around these shards shall stand Amethyst cathedrals, towering crystalline forms that rise like sentinels of purple light. Quartz cathedrals shall flank them, their translucent towers refracting sunlight into a spectrum of colour across the hall. Other crystalline forms, drawn from the deep treasures of the earth, shall complete this celestial assemblage. Together, they will create a throne room that is at once earthly and divine, grounded and cosmic, a reflection of my reign itself.
At its heart will rest the Lotus Throne. The throne shall be carved and placed as the axis of the room, a seat that is not only a chair of power but a symbol of purity and enlightenment. The lotus, rooted in the mud yet rising to blossom above water, has always been the symbol of transcendence and sovereignty. This throne will embody my reign as one born of hardship and yet rising into clarity and dignity. It will be surrounded by the crystalline and meteorite walls, giving it an aura of sanctity and cosmic protection.
The palace will also contain ceremonial halls, council chambers, and archives. Each will be designed with specific architectural vocabularies. The ceremonial halls will be adorned with vaulted ceilings and gilded cornices, echoing traditions of imperial grandeur. Council chambers will be lined with Indigenous motifs and geometric tracery, symbolising the blending of ancestral culture with dynastic governance. The archives will be built with reinforced vaulting and cloistered corridors, preserving records of sovereignty, history, and law for future generations.
This palace is more than a residence. It is a living testament to law, survival, and continuity. It asserts publicly and unequivocally that Indigenous sovereignty is not symbolic but real. It is lived in the structures we build, in the institutions we establish, and in the thrones we place at the centre of our nations. My palace shall be the visual and legal proclamation of this truth.
The financial budget for the palace will be disclosed publicly in due course. This decision reflects my commitment to transparency and to stewardship. Wealth is not applied here for vanity, it is deployed as patrimony, as dynastic responsibility, and as cultural investment. The disclosure will affirm that every resource used is lawfully directed toward the service of sovereignty, heritage, and the people who recognise this reign.
My life has carried with it many trials. I have survived oppression, silencing, and injustice. To stand today and commission this palace is to rise above those experiences with dignity intact. The palace is therefore not only a statement of lineage but also of resilience. It tells the story of one who has endured, one who has risen, and one who now builds for eternity.
I affirm before all nations and before history itself that this palace is rightful, lawful, and sacred. It is a sovereign act upon sovereign land. It is a renewal of dynastic authority. It is a manifestation of Indigenous rights. And it is a promise to future generations that the throne shall not fall silent again.
I, His Highness Sagar V Chauhan I, commission this palace as the first seat of my reign. Within its throne room, beneath meteorite shards and crystalline cathedrals, upon the Lotus Throne, sovereignty shall be seated and justice shall be seen.
