Leadership and Business Specialist

Priyanka Ayodele, CMgr MCMI, Assoc. CIPD, is a leadership and organisational development specialist and the founder of The Leadership Method. Her work focuses on leadership, team culture and the human side of how organisations operate. Priyanka studied psychology and began her career working in mental health, where she developed an interest in understanding how people think, behave and respond to different environments.

During this time, she originally considered becoming a clinical psychologist, but realised that what interested her most was how psychology plays out in everyday settings, such as the workplace.

Throughout her career, she experienced both poor management and the kind of managers who helped her grow. Those experiences shaped her belief that leadership has a powerful impact on people's confidence, wellbeing and development at work. The managers who recognised her potential and supported her growth played a significant role in shaping the leader she is today.

Priyanka went on to build her career in organisational development and inclusion, later completing qualifications with the CIPD and the Chartered Management Institute. She is currently working towards her coaching qualification to have alongside her coaching experience, as part of her continued development in supporting managers and leaders.

Her work is influenced by the thinking of Edgar Schein, an organisational psychologist and professor at MIT Sloan who is known for his work on organisational culture and leadership. Schein's ideas about understanding how culture shapes behaviours continue to influence Priyanka's approach to leadership development and organisational change. These experiences led her to establish The Leadership Method, a platform focused on helping organisations develop stronger leadership, healthier team cultures and more reflective managers.
