Michelle Stroud is a holistic reproductive practitioner, doula educator, and healing arts trainer with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families through fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and loss. Her work spans clinical, educational, and mentorship roles, with a focus on trauma-informed, client-centred care and informed decision-making within modern healthcare systems.

Michelle is the founder of By the Moon, a holistic training school offering education in full spectrum doula support, reflexology, Reiki, and reproductive health. She developed her programs in response to gaps she observed in conventional training – integrating evidence-based birth education with emotional regulation, holistic modalities, and a deeper understanding of the psychosocial and spiritual dimensions of care.

Throughout her career, Michelle has worked closely alongside midwives, nurses, and physicians while supporting clients navigating complex medical environments. She is known for her ability to bridge medical knowledge with compassionate advocacy, helping families feel informed, supported, and empowered during major life transitions.

As an educator, Michelle emphasizes self-awareness, practitioner integrity, and sustainable practice.
