Marline C Duroseau was born and raised in sunny Miami, FL to Haitian immigrants.
 
Marline remained destined to make my parents proud. She can confidently accept and describe herself as a grounded, humble, and accomplished woman. She is a successful CFO, CPA, and Leadership Executive, Financial Professional, with a 22-year professional career. She is also an Educator, a Doctoral candidate, and an Entrepreneur. Author and Speaker are the additional accomplishments Marline can now add to the list.
 
What started as an outlet to cope and express her feelings while dealing with Infertility and child loss, has resulted in her first published work, titled “It’ll Happen By 30: A Relentless Journey of Faith | Delayed but not Denied.”
After launching the company, MCD Business Enterprise LLC (MCDBE), Marline is now an Entrepreneur who sets out to empower and help build confidence among her fellow female cohorts. “Women Matter” is the motto behind the driving force that keeps her going.
 
Her professional leadership experience serves as the foundation the company, MCDBE. Woman, You Matter, is among the motivational messages she leads with to empower those that appear on her path. Hopefully, that gives her clients the trust and strength they need to share their stories, seek help, and advocate for themselves in all roles they occupy. Providing talks as a thought-leader in the fertility industry as a Fertility Advocate and Leadership Professional is important to Marline and serves as a priority to empower others, especially women.
 
Before becoming an Entrepreneur, she worked her way up the corporate ladder and cultivated a 20+ year professional career. Now a licensed CPA, Chief Financial Officer, and Leadership/Financial Executive, Marline stands out with her ability to allow everyone around her to shine. It is important to be surrounded by the best. One can only be the best with the help of an awesome team. She leads in a manner that taps into the strengths of those who work with her to allow them to perform at their utmost capacity while also cultivating efficiency and productivity for the company.
 
Mentoring is important to Marline because she is a direct product of fantastic mentoring. That, in addition to her educational credentials, work ethic, and unending ambition, are just some of the things that helped her excel professionally. It was not easy at the slightest hint of anyone’s imagination, especially when having to still thrive and perform during turbulent times professionally and personally. However, having the will to keep going and not give up, really helps to keep that engine running. A lesson she learned along the way that also served as a way to overcome challenges was asking questions, yes, asking questions. The more you know, the more you grow!
 
It is important for the world to know that MCD Business Enterprise and Marline, believe in women. Women Matter! When people seek her leadership or fertility services, buy her books, or request a conversation, she allows them an inviting and safe space to feel validated. Because of her lived experiences and relatability factor, her brand stands to reach and help countless women believe in themselves and advocate for what they believe in or strive for personally and professionally.
 
Marline knows what it takes to cultivate a successful leadership career despite the countless obstacles faced while on that quest to grow and improve. She wants to share her story and give people tips on how to effectively present and succeed in the workplace, how to use mentorship as a way to give back, and how to cultivate an environment that fosters authentic capacity by embracing one's team and empowering them to be their best. Marline serves as a fertility coach. She knows how it feels when you're trying to conceive and it seems like nothing is going your way, like most things in life. Marline is a walking testimony to what resilience and hard work are.
 
In addition to her 1st book, mentioned above, Marline has authored 2 additional books. They are children’s books: Kason and Kamden: Yes We’re Twins But I’m Still Me, and KB The Bossy Rainbow Baby. These books were written by Marline to instill independence, confidence, and acceptance in the youth. Empowered children become empowered adults. As such, Marline travels to schools across the nation to host reading and literacy workshops for the students. Not only do they actively engage in the sessions, they leave with a renewed sense of empowerment, feeling they belong, and with the ability to embrace what makes them each unique.
 
Keeping in line with the Christian teachings of offering time, talent, and treasure, Marline volunteers in a multitude of capacities. Marline proudly serves as the Chairperson for the Finance Committee at the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She also served as a former CCD (religious education) instructor for the church in an effort to give back to the faith community and enrich the younger generation. As the Treasurer for her local Home Owners’ Association, she volunteers her time to ensure the residential community functions well to meet the needs of her fellow homeowners. Furthermore, Marline is a Board member and serves as the Chief Financial Officer with the non-profit organization, Filling Empty Wombs, Inc, to further assist, bring awareness, and advocate for the fertility community that are too often voiceless.
 
Marline is celebrating 22 years of marriage to her husband, Kevens, and they have four sons. Needless to say, they keep her busy and on her feet. When not working, Kevens and Marline enjoy finding new ways to cultivate their family dynamic while raising their boys.
