Lisa Gaines
Leadership Wellbeing Coach
A leadership and wellbeing coach and training facilitator who has coached and trained thousands of leaders and team members across Australia and internationally for the last 14 years. Lisa works across the corporate, public and professional sectors, developing leaders and teams, and improving team dynamics and psychological safety in organisations.
Lisa is a Professional Certified Coach (ICF PCC) and a coach trainer and mentor, specialising in neuroscience-based coaching. She serves as President of the International Coaching Federation’s ACT Branch, contributing to high standards of leadership and ethics in the profession.
Nearly 30 years of mindfulness and personal growth have shaped the grounded, empathic coach Lisa is today. She combines lived wisdom and professional rigour when working with her coaching clients; mid-life women leaders who are capable, accomplished, and deeply dedicated, yet quietly carry a load most people don’t see. Many are leading teams and running organisations while navigating professional challenges, shifting relationships, supporting ageing parents, and experiencing the physical, mental, and emotional challenges of the menopausal years.
Lisa understands this chapter from lived experience. Midlife coincided with Covid and a family crisis. She confronted the cost of feeling overburdened and living with high anxiety from working unsustainably. Boundaries became essential, and learning to work and live sustainably became non-negotiable.
Supporting her clients in finding their own way through this important, transformational time of life is core to her purpose.
Lisa lives lakeside, close to the ocean in regional NSW with her partner in life and adventures. Nature, exercise, music, dance and wellbeing practices anchor her so she can bring deep presence to every client session.
You can learn more about working with Lisa through her Grow and Thrive coaching programs, her customised leadership and team development programs, or her online courses: ‘The Mid-Life Shift’ and ‘The Emotionally Intelligent Coach’.
