Lena graduated from Rutgers University, New Jersey with her Master's in Social Work in 2012 with the highest honor of Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into the Phi Alpha Honor Society. Shortly after graduating, she began obtaining her clinical hours in an internship to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She found her love for treating anxiety initially working with kids and adolescence struggling to manage their own anxiety or social anxiety. She then decided to open her own Private Practice and began treating anxiety full time with ages ranging from children to adults.
