Julie Vander Meulen

Empowerment Coach for Ambitious Women

A few years ago, Julie Vander Meulen stood where many ambitious women find themselves: at the pinnacle of academic achievement with four Master's degrees and a flourishing career as a scientific researcher. Yet, beneath the surface of this enviable resume, there was a yearning for something more, a sense that her true calling lay in realms unexplored.

The turning point came seven years ago. Despite her success, Julie felt disconnected from her true potential, living a life that seemed perfect on paper but lacked genuine fulfillment. Inspired by the transformative teachings of Gabby Bernstein and Tony Robbins, she took a courageous leap into the world of self-help and personal development. This wasn't just a career shift; it was a profound personal awakening.

Now, as an Empowerment Coach and the visionary founder of Own Your Life Academy, Julie has transformed her journey of self-discovery into a mission to empower women. She delves deep into the complexities of the 'good girl syndrome,' a challenge she knows all too well. With her current Ph.D. research focusing on the power of personal development to liberate women from societal expectations, Julie is pioneering new pathways for women to embrace playfulness, take risks, and pursue their deepest desires.

Julie’s approach is unique. It blends scientific rigor with heartfelt empathy, a testament to her multidisciplinary background. She's not just teaching strategies; she's walking alongside her clients, sharing insights and breakthroughs from her own transformation. Julie empowers women to step out of the shadows of their circumstances and into the light of their true selves, creating lives filled with joy, authenticity, and boldness.

Her story is one of moving from pain to pleasure, from doubt to confidence. It fuels her deep passion to help other women traverse their paths to empowerment. At Own Your Life Academy, Julie offers more than coaching; she offers a journey to becoming the creator of your destiny, one empowered step at a time.
